Interesting. It says in the Update Service Pro guide that the phones software should be re-updated once in a while to keep it "fresh" and "working as good as possible"

Too bad we can't do that with SEUS,just reflash phone with the same FW should be better than master reset.

You can. I'm doing it right now to see if it makes any difference.

i think that the FW structure is the same!
cause all Fw's of k850 and w910 have the same name!

But I thought K850 FW will be R1EA031 unlike the w910 having R1EA030 (confirmed)

Even if they have the same platform, k850 is camera oriented and w910 is music oriented, so there could still be slight differences between their FW.

This I don't get; why still nothing for k850? Did the "Best Phone Award" make a difference between their release dates?

I get a "continue anyway" option.

BTW the re-update seems to have sped up my loading times in regards to both the phone and java apps, though, it's still sluggish with the media player running in the background. I'm on O2 (038)

I guess the more complicated the FW get the more windows like problems they acquire. Doing a clean windows install fixes bugs that build up over time. I guess we will have to deal with that until a completely new generation of software comes around.

@Jerky
You should be able to, after it states that you have the latest version it will ask you to proceed anyway.

@Sniper
I think they work on the easier FW first, to my understanding the K850 has more features than the W910 and a more advanced camera.

I love how eloquently they phrased the paragraph. "...repair software damaged by misuse..." How does one misuse software? What can an average phone user possibly do to the software that they can not foresee?

What crap...

I guess it means pulling the battery without turning the phone off first or unpluging the USB in storage mode without stopping the service. That kind of "misuse".
