Found this on another (German) forum: http://www.se-world.info/thre[....]e-per-Seus-ist-da-R1EA030.html
He updated his W910i today via SEUS to R1EA030. Maybe this means an update for the K850i is near... |

hey does anybody know if a micro sd card works fine with K850i. by default we have a SanDisk M2 512MB card. I just for checking put Nokia6233-64MB microsd card into my K850i and the phone doesn't start at all. It keeps on and off the keypad & camera lens cover light.
What is wrong with it? That card works fine on 6233 then why it doesnt work in K850i?
One thing more to ask...
Should i buy a microsd or a m2 card of 4gb for K850i??? plz guide which is faster?
and what is difference b/w SanDisk Mobile Premier microSD & SanDisk microSD?

You know you have to put the SD card in the other way round the the M2 card right, just checking but it took me a few attempts to work it out |

Keeping my fingers crossed. Have the W910-people been waiting for a new firmware too? Is it the same media player in W910 and K850? |

M2 can read & write at 20Mbit/s
MicroSD is 10Mbit/s
However the potential capacty of SD is much greater than that of M2. I've got an 8GB microSDHC which I'm more than happy with

The potential capacity based on the technology used to produce the product... Maximum size possible

Yes.
Glad the new firmware was released for the W910i, it was needed. Media browsing was slow. Phone seems slow sluggish,
This seems to have improved a little
