F1 and athletics, which reminds me, weren't our olympics great! I managed to get along to the stadium for a few athletics events including Cathy doing her 400m!

Last year I lost all interest in F1...watching paint dry seemed a more exciting prospect.

yeah, watching cars drive around in circles isn't my favourite past-time.
personally, i follow aussie rules football (REAL footy! ), cricket, and generally whatever major international sporting event happens to be on at the time.

i never used to like cricket that much, then one summer holidays i had nothing much better to do so i spent a lot of time watching an ashes series. after a few days of constant exposure i finally understood what all the fuss was about - i suppose it just sort of "clicked" - and i've been a fan ever since. i also found watching the ODIs gave a better appreciation for the test matches (and vice versa to a lesser degree).

look, i'd probably go if someone else oraganised it but not if i had to arrange it myself. however, i generally won't watch it on tv.
