Honestly (the rest of you) guyz...do you really expect that the transition from an R1CA firmware to an R1EA will make a significant difference?

Well i sincerely hope it will enable the telefon to run java apps! And solve the volume bug. And that is a significant difference compared to how bad the phone works now! |

After reading the simple post from the only guy who seems to have the new firmware, I'm non too optimistic.

I had the same problem with Java on a W910i but unfortunately the problem was not resolved by upgrading via SEUS. I had to reflash it at an SE Service Center and even though they reflashed it with the same firmware the problem never occured again.
I hope that R1EA via SEUS will resolve this problem for you. Make sure you do a Master Reset before you upgrade and another Master Reset after the completion of the upgrade procedure.
Goog luck...when the new firmware is up on SEUS!

That's exactly what I mean. If the changes were REALLY significant, the changes in the lettering would not be R1CA to R1EA but R1CA to something like R3AA like Mizzle was expecting!

@whatsucka When you will connect your phone to SEUS it will see it as Chinese whatever you are in the world so it will upgrade it to the latest FW don't worry 
Anyway the Chinese version has tons of languages including english,french,deutch...
After if you still want to get another language pack for free just wait that XS++ supports K850,I don't think it will take too long

You guys are arguing about silly stuff, whose bad mouthing the phone, whose not giving so called "correct info" (which no one really knows what's correct or not). It's kinda like the special olympic's, even if you win your still retarded. Everyone just chill out and wait abit longer and all of you can answer your own questions about the firmware thats pending.

Let's all relax. Some of us are not contented, some of us had enough, and some of us are still clinging on.
From the start people are having hysteria - a chain reaction of comments triggers a lot of pissed heads and frustrations.
I'm on 037 china_so, apac_anz and having problems like the others but I keep myself calm as much as possible.
As of the moment, why won't we haunt down beta testers for more updates? And who says there will be no updates coming? I don't want to believe that.
So, who are our beta testers and "blessed ones"?
We already know one (mizzle) but he occasionally appears/disappears.
Who else could we asked for news? |

i've just realized that, in the 037 FW, it no longer has the timeline view in both camera pics and pictures on the file explorer....

when i try to update using SEUS i pick, tradition chinese, tradition chinese(hong kong), or simplify chinese thy all say my firmware is up to date...
and my current firmware is R1CA037 China, according to this site or watever i found on other sites, the latest firmware is R1DA038...
this fone is for my dad, he doesnt understand english thats why i have to set to chinese, but simplify chinese is driving us crazy, all the translation is so different compare to traditional chinese
also this fone sorting is horrible!! when i go in media all pics in different folder show at the same time, and the worst is i cant sort them out!! thy only can b sort out by timeline, which never make sense cause is not by picture taken time, but is picture that is loaded in the memory stick...
while in USB mode the keypad n screen is always on... i can see the bright light shining at me which USB is plug in...
now i find this fone very stupid cuz all those stupid things, i didnt noe it can b this crappy before i buy it but the pictures taken by this fone is awesome
hope new firmware can fix these stupid problems
