Not as far as I know, but as SonyEricsson have recently released thier Theme Creator for Mac, maybe they'll release some of their other programs too...

So, I have a question for you all.. I have a SE P910i and would like a OSX app that I can sync notes with (jotter or another SE app) with a note application on my laptop.. when I sent .txt or .rtf files to the phone, they get opened in web browser.. So I can't edit them..
Seems like a fairly simple app to create. Anyone have any ideas? |

Bluenotes doesn't really work for managing notes. Notes that you create on the desktop that get sent to the phone (P910i) get read in the web browser. With a bunch of cr@p that I don't need.. like when / how the note was created. I'm looking for a note management tool, kinda like the Palm notes tool.

Sorry, don't know of anything else... if you had a T or K series phone you could probbaly used 'PhoneAgent' but I know of nothing for the P series.

Well, as your query relates to Windows PCs you're unlikely to get much help from this thread, which, as shown in its title, is aimed at Apple Macintosh users.

It's a funny thing: I get a new phone and I'm all over this forum, then the novelty wears off and you don't hear from me for months!
But Wow! I'm so glad this forum is still alive. What started out as a simple idea to have a Mac/SE thread at Esato has really grown over the last few months since I've been away
But I'm back again! Why? Just got a K700i to replace [upgrade] my T610.
Great phone but can't use it yet to call on - waiting for my no. to be transferred from o2 to Vodafone: up to 6 days now they tell me!!
But the point of this post is just to let you good folks here on the Mac/SE thread I'm back so if there are any Mac/SE issues you want to ask, fire away...
... and I'll try to stay around this time too

please help i am getting desparate. I can connect but recieve nothing backwhen looking at the connection monitor in intenet connect, cant load pages. We are on vodafone, I have a k700 no problem there(eventually!) My partner has just got a p910i and I just cant get it to work properly, have tried all the ross barkman scripts, none work, some of the ones on my ibook seem to work using various numbers, what cid should i use with a p910? doesnt seem to have data accounts like my k700 or t610 so *99***6# which is what I use seems uneccesary, *99# seems okay. After days of struggling and finding that sony, apple and vodafone are unable to help I dont know what to try next other than wait for a new os update.we only have mobiles as a connection so its really important to get it sorted, she can connect fine on the handset itself so is it a script, settings or some other problem?
using 10.3.8 I dont get an error message, it just appears that the connection is active looking at intenet connect, send lights up when i attemt to go online then continues to be sporadically activebsometimes I get a little activity in the recieved bar but not often, generally when I first try to go to a page. the page never loads.Any ideas gratefully recieved.

@Boatboy,
go to www.novamedia.de and buy their product. It works every time without failing. I have used it in Kuwait, Germany, Denmark, Dubai, and now Finland and it has never let me down. It is great.

thanks for that, looks excellent. Can download when I have a reasonable connection! Will the connection speed be any greater than 2400bps using gprs? will one version work with any future phones we get?
Paying after buying the phone etc seems a little irksome and as k700 works so well but I have certainly spent more time and money on the problem already. What about waiting for tiger or an update? Any simple connection settings to try?
Thanks again, wish we'd checked with you guys before getting a handset upgrade. |

It is not that big a file but it is worth the money.
It works will all of my phones: z1010, s700i, and k700i. All very transparent in their operation.

Finally got my k700i connected to vodafone UK after 5 days and I don't know how many calls to my provider! Yay!!
But ... I came up against the 'feature' of vodafone UK wherby you can't use mp3 files as ring tones/alarms as they weren't drm files, at least not unless you buy them through vodafone live, as I understand it. Well, thanks to a thread somewhere on Esato, I got hold of the SE program to convert mp3 to dm files and it worked Yay again!
So this post is to thank whoever it was [sorry I can't remember exactly which thread I found it on] that pointed me to this software.
FYI, if you look at my sig, I am a Mac user [obviously as it was me who pushed for this thread in the first place, d'uh!] and ran the program in Win XP using Virtual PC. So if anyone else comes up against this issue, it is a solution that works!
