Hi all...

Please help me out!

Story:
Currently I am using my ISP's dial up account and PC to use internet.

Problem:
Since my phone line is not good enough, my connection dropped almost every time. Therefore I decided to use my GSM phone line instead of home phone line. So, I searched in this forum to configure my phone and tried many time, but all failed. Finally, I gave up and decided to write this topic. Please guide me, step by step if you know how. Thanks in advance! You can reach me at ammk@bigfoot.com or just reply this topic.

I've tried 146 which is the same as PC setting. It didn't work.
Then, again I've tried *9***1#... It didn't work also...

P.S. sorry for my late reply. I got dc...

You created a switch data packet in the phone right, in other words, you have configured the data carrier? And the number1 is the same no as the external id of data carrier?

If I remember right, there's a wizard of some sort in the SE PC Suite that sets up GPRS internet access on your PC. There must be, because I managed to access the internet using GPRS modem and I've no idea how to do it.

Just looked at my settings, the phone number I have is *99***3#. I never use it as it costs a fortune. Better off using CSD IMHO.

All you need to use, GPRS, or 3G with your phones. I am currently using it with the s700i, k700i and the z1010. All phones perform flawlessly. The only problem is, this software is designed for Mac OS.
*edited on a Mac of course. Mac: There is no substitute*

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here?
