take a look at pic 5 and 6 in the slideshow:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11233372/

thats the most primitive, most disgusting behavour i saw for a long time. is that the right way to solve problems and misunderstandings? bet the half of the crowd doesnt even know where denmark is... i am really sorry, but i love denmark, i love scandinavia, might be they gone too far, but i dont remember that any of them wished the death of any muslim citizen...

joe you have to realise that the culture and way of doing things is very different in those countries...some children often work alongside adults to support their familys. [addsig]

I've had a look at 5 and 6. What bit is meant to disgust me? I'm not trying to be funny, but I'm not quite sure what you're saying. [addsig]

@axxxr Maybe so, but i cant help but think exposed to this kind of protest could affect them in the long run. But as you said it’s a different culture to where I’m from.

It does appear that way, what is this world coming to when a little cartoon gets blown out of proportion!

its a cartoon FFS!

To be fair you could call the Muslin community narrow minded. if they are so narrow minded to see that other religions do exist?

also one small point. racial divide goes both ways. I've spent times in Muslim countries where i feel like an outcast, also you wont see a Disney Store anywhere in the middle east?

why is this? yes you guessed it, religion!! All because Disney for a KIDS FILM, depicted the centre of Islam to be Jerusalem.

forgive me for being a cynic but its a KIDS FILM, Kids do not have the ability to understand religions and world movements.

can we all just please drop the whole cartoon thing? i know some of you have taken offence, but as i said in an earlier post you dont see Christians ranting and raving about the da vinci code do you??

could this thread just die?
It's already been established that some don't understand why the Muslim's reacted this way, and some don't understand why non-Muslim's don't understand.

It's already been established, that making a mockery of one religion shows a lack of respect, and the reaction that's currently been show is completely over the top and could have not been escalated as high.

Finito.
