Yes, this firmware is R1EA031 for K850i, download by EMMA....
It is released in the SE service centers or it is just for testing?
Do you have it on your K850i so that you can tell us if the bugs in R1CA037 are still there? Tell us if the pictures are OK now. |

i'm not saying about creating new list but about updating existing list to every known issue for better legibility. if lists from 1st post are good enough for you then fine. so, R1DA038 users don't have to be upset - only 1 bug on list... impressive

why isnt SE looking at this forum???
its thier Number one phone in K series.. thier best series...
i dont get it .. my propbale theory..
1.) all software/firmware developeers shifted to work for XPeria
2.)they are rewriting from scartch ( if so i like it .. they word rewrite itself makes me happy .._)
3.)they couldnt solve the issue...
4.)Entire firmware dev team given 4 months holiday
5.)last SE is going bankrupt !!!! hi hi

Just got my new K850i on insurance after the last went for a swim.
Is on 037 but bit annoyed with how long it's taking for 038 to be available for us unbranded K850i owners. I just want more speed!! |

The first firmware lists all of the initial bugs in the phone & future firmwares list the fixes that have been recognised and any new bugs that have been introduced. In other words there are still plenty of bugs against the latest firmware.
The reason I have laid it out this way is to prevent duplication of information, but I realise that it may be a little confusing. |

i think one comnfrence is not bigger than customers like dealing with faulty(firmware wise ) k850....
wht would it serve???? now xperia... wht if tommorrow someone finds this thread and makes a big issue... all of SE`s fame of XPERIA will fall like cards....
i think our hard earned money is wht they should first look into..
more over.. if my theory is right and they have mistakenly put a platform wwith which the present hardware cant handle... they shouldnt have released this phone or else they should call back and return all of us with new phones...

People what about this firmware?? Is in EMMA? Its a test one or a final version? Anyone updated?? What are the changes??

If it's on EMMA so it's a final version,EMMA is accessible only by SE centers,so if you are near one of them you would get the update,if not you should count 2-3 days and it will be online

Vagas already said that it is on EMMA.
I very much doubt that the dev team for the new phone is the same as the A200 platform since the new phone is WM6 and a collaboration with HTC. Maybe the people who make the camera tweaks/drivers are involved but otherwise I don't think so.
I love it when people say "relax, let your focus go on something productive, don't be so angry, etc" Well guess what -not all of us can be Zen masters like you Raiderski...

Also, I thought betas are also on EMMA for testing purposes. I think unless it says final or something its not going o be available on SEUS for a while...
