I think it should more of a code rewrite...or else it wouldn have taken so long to fix bugs like these.. I think we may expect faster ui...thats all i want..thats why i love se..fast..not like sluggish nokia..

Hmm, haven't all the latest SE phones gotten a really slow ui?
I mean, I haven't tried anyone but the K850i of the latest ones, but from reading reviews and stuff. Almost everyone is said to be slow.
Maybe SE is falling in the trapp, becoming the new Nokia. Haha, no but you get my point.
They should definately start listening to us consumers. Before they lose us all.

I suggest waiting just a bit longer - till a few reports of issues come in IF any issues on the Rogers only branding.
Also take care NOT to use any 3rd Party apps for now ... I'm concerned that the NetFront browser has heavy Rogers branding - its icon is labelled Rogers Browser with the Rogers Branded K850i - and transmitt the device IMEI to the GGSN/SGSN. A little tidbit.
apn: internet.com is for port 80 access. This is NOT the APN we should be using for unlimited On-Device internet surfing, its the goam.com we should be using. That said, Opera Mini won't work directly with this apn (goam.com or listed as Rogers on your phone). To get Opera Mini to work, you'll need to go into Opera Mini: Tools> Settings> and change the proxy to HTML from Socket. should do the trick but AGAIN caution, pls.

Prom1 > How much is this "unlimited" plan from rogers? I guess I have to count myself being Very lucky to have an old (ancient actually) Unlimited plan from OLD AT&T which costs me $25 and so far new AT&T hasn't been able to determine whether I'm tethered or just browsing through the phone. I've enjoyed 3g service since May when I bought myself an 8525 (HTC TyTN) and found out that my old SIM card and plan work for 3g as well  So does Rogers offer a Trully unlimited plan or even a tethered plan for data? |

its truely unlimited only if you use the phones browser to go on websites. thats pretty much it. you can't use google maps, yahoo go, and other third party apps because charges will apply. oh and its $7 a month slapped with a 3 year contract |

I think Tervel is refering to an OLD Rogers AT&T Data plan, something I didn't think they ever had unless it was Portage Plus or something. Either way he's on a grandfathered service so he won't be affected. The new Rogers Vision data package can be had for $20/mth which'll give you On-Device surfing & Ultd Video Calling for 3 mths with 50 video calls after that. If you CANCEL this service then you incur an Early Data Cancellation Fee for that. The $7 Option that just gives you Ultd On Device surfing, if cancelled doesn't incurr this.
We're getting badly off topic here ... so maybe a few links to Rogers site or we can carry on in the Canadian users thread as this'll be more helpful to Canadian users there. Its an OLD thread that definately needs attention.

It wouldnt surprice me if se release only one fw and then let it be . Mybe this k850 just should have stayed as a beta at the develope center at sony ericsson
Look at many of other phones they have produced lots of beta |

As a matter of fact, k850 seems to be a middle phone, linking k800 and the new C series.
We keep on waiting for the new firmware anyway.
I loved the MiniGolg game in the k800, too bad we can't have it with k850. Digital Chocolate is a very good software house for SE games!

we are simply because in most cases guys are running with flowers and chocolates for their females. guy is trying to organize tickets to cinema, dinner, romantic mood etc. what will do woman? woman will say 'thank you' and that's all from her side - what an involvement! don't be looser - show your woman everyday how much you love her and valentine day will be without the meaning. peace!
