Sony Xperia rumours 2022 |

There are a lot of genuine leaks about Pro-I from everyone else, but you dont see them a lot and some are "intentionally" vague to avoid pinpoint the source of leak 
Anyway, XQ-CTxx is next gen 1, CQ is next gen 5. The release time is not too far, maybe around CES 2022 next month actually
Offtopic but my interests in Xperia is winding down because everything is too "boring", Xperia hardware does not offer better quality (and constructions) than the competitors. And the software, from being the leader now turned into second-tier. For me the best era of Sony Xperia is over, with the greatest era from 2016-2017. They had a great vision but cant make it a reality. After that its a sad story. From an avid Sony "fan" who owns many very interesting devices such as Xperia A Miku, "Aoi" (cancelled Z4v), , Xperia Ear/Touch/Hello, "Sphinx",.....  |

I thought sphinx was Mark 1.
Everything would be better if all my ideas were considered.
I just wanted something like 5ii but with LCD instead.
CPU could be 690. No problem.

That's the one thing I missed the most from old Xperia era, beautiful codenames, not plain PDX something as of today

The old finger scanner disabled in North America. Was it really about patents or the whole Z4v story?
Any chance 1iv comes in same colours of Z5P?
Edit: Might be my lucky day. Sony on weibo asking people if they like more Matte or Mirror glass. 🙌🏻
Bonus: B&H Photo sells cellphones from Sony, Motorola and Google. Among these , Pro-i is listed #1 when page show best sellers.

Could you please explain us - Why do you think/what made you think Xperia phones are not built with better quality?

Do you think there is much difference between 690 and 695 in real use?
You mention phones might show up near CES. But CES is next week. I know 2 of them are certified, it is so quiet right now, not even a render is out.

Got mine for 1,400 EUR brand new from Germany. It's the first Sony phone I got within a month of the release which I think it's crazy. Usually I buy them six months to a year after they are released.
Anyway it's a great concept and hopefully Sony improves on it this year. Build quality an design is the best thing about this piece and also the wrist strap which I put on right away. This phone looks and feel like no other I can tell you that.
Cameras are OK, don't expect anything out of ordinary from it. I do have a PXW-Z90V and video PRO-I outputs can't come close at all in any aspect except boosted frame rate. When it's all a said and done it's still mobile phone photography and videography after all.
Should I recommend it? If you need a new phone right now then yes, I think it's the best buy alongside iPhone 13. If you don't need a new phone then wait for what's in store next year with 1 IV or PRO-I successor. Sorry I'm not into S21 Ultra, Mi 11 Ultra or Pixels due to horrible delivered imagery they output unless you shoot raw.
