ahh...a lot of people now watch cnn-ibn.but i only watch the India news there.i dont like the attitude of the people at ndtv 24/7.for international news and good progrmmes,its BBC all the way.
Btw,oogy had got arested yesterday in the anti-reservation drive along with some other medicos.was in custody for 5 hrs...he didnt sustain much injury...but some of his friends did  am feeling angry at the way the cops were beaing up the medicos yesterday.@$$fcuk the cops. 
also,i dont understand something..."doctor to bhagwan ke roop hote hai...unhe aisa nai karna chahiye" and when a doc takes a leave,people say...look doctor is having a vacation when my so and so is sick....what the hell is that??we work like ass for long long hrs in tense conditions contionously and get the lowest pay among doctos in the world(so most resort to pvt practice).nobody cares about this part.
we docs asked the govt for no qoutas...still we worked and said that if our demands are not met,we will strike work on this date.we worked for 2 weeks while on protest.govt doesnt listen.we strike work.now the whole media is blaming us...and making the point against us.media also doenst show that the hospital are still working even though with lesser staff caring for the most needy.

@thug you're right-people dont give a damn about the hardships of docs and the media just wants to gain popularity by taking up the public's view, even if its not right. And when has our government ever taken thing seriously? |

since oogy doesnt show up here much,heres what he replied to me...
"Hi boss... Am safe and intact... no lathis rained on me fortunately because i can run at speeds that outrun lathis.. Anyway finally got caught by the cops and was taken into custody with about 130 others... was detained for 6 hours and were finally left..
Had a lovely exhilarating experience yesterday.."

Thug...when I saw a pic of this doc on the front page of Midday, I seriously thought it was Ooga (looked quite similar to his pic in his blog) later realised it wasn't him but an OBC, MBBS student who got it on merit. For those outside Bbay/without access 2 2days midday:

Also, the Specs have changed since I posted that thread in November 2005, It doesent show HSDPA in the specs, it shows the ROM/RAM as only 64/128 MB, whereas it is 128/128 MB and also the looks of the device have been changed a bit.
