fma is virtually useless for K750/W800. Half the functions don't work. My Phone Explorer EVERYTHING works. Properly without hassle.
FMA was good in the days of the T610, but it's now dead in the water IMHO.

I just set up auto connect and autosync on startup and dropped the MPE shortcut in my startup folder!
So now my contacts will allways be synced, my messages automatically archived to pc, calander always up to date, and I'll have a history of calls, all without lifting a finger.
With x to tray, MPE will be always handy. I even set my incoming call sound and message sound to the same mp3 files I use on the phone

FMA stands for floAt's Mobile Agent. It's a tool (an application) to manage the contents of Sony Ericsson mobile phones.
For further information, click here (http://fma.sourceforge.net/).

How did you get your K800 to connect with MPE? It detected my K750 and W810 but no amount of tinkering will get my K800 onto it!
Any help appreciated.

Edit: Ignore this, bit more tinkering, upgrade from 1.4.4 to 1.4.5 and all is well.

@Sooteee
When you launch MPE and have your phone connected to your PC, open the options box in MPE and where it says connect using COM1, select the K800 port from the dropdown. (install the drivers first that came with the SE software with the phone)
I dont have it open with me as I'm currently at work, but if I can recall correctly, it was the first one I picked and it worked. You will then see that you will have a new profile so you wont loose any of your previous phone's settings and data.

Everytime I try to restore a backup it gives me an OBEX interface error... I can't get it to restore my K750i backup onto my K790i. Any suggestions?
I was using an infrared port from my laptop to connect. Couldnt seem to get it to work with the USB cable. I'm referring to MPE here.
EDIT: OK I just got it to work with the USB cable via. Modem mode. Still gives the same OBEX interface error though.
