if we count 6 weeks starting from january 1st then the end of the sixth week is tomorrow.
which means that if they release it tomorrow then the rumours about week 6 were true.

nah but the reason i have some hope it can come tomorrow is that they hadnt finished quite enough to have it on SEUS last friday. So i hope they've finished it and will release it today (monday)

Finally got around to trying out cleaning the light sensor witha tooth pick!

It actually worked! Flash photos are no longer washed out when taking a photo of something closer than 4 feet or so.

Now, I get some photos coming out a bit dark again (even though I am holding the phone correctly). Hehe, can't win:)

I'm over waiting for a firmware update. It works pretty well with 37, though it really slows down when multi-tasking. The build quality isn't great.. dust under the lens cover, the edges of the grey plastic where it meets the black bottom and top of the phone are too easily damaged because of the gap, battery cover while a great idea ends up loose...

Intersting. It seemns that i'm the only one who have a green K850i. Funny becouse the K850i green should be the standart color. Even in youtube or on the net we don't see a lot of green K850i. Maybe they aren't selling any more the green one?

I have the Luminous Green K850.

In the UK. Its the network operators that supply the Blue model only. Although both models can be bought sim free from places like Carphone Warehouse.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

i just read about the C series announcement and i was thinking how cool it is that they offer face detection.....isn't face detection done by the software??

wouldn't it be cool if the next k850 totally changed the user experience and added new features ,unleashed the hidden powers of this phone??

what if the new firmware was able to detect faces

Nokia does bar code reading using the camera... you should be able to do basic face recognition with software on any phone with a camera. Wether or not there is enough processing power to do the job properly is another matter:)

Bar code reading and face recognition is twpo different things..even the p1 can read a business card...but face recognition is to lock a face itself from the moving ones..

Bugs will be bugs. But from the looks of things you all most of you are STILL using the K850i as its the best offering thus far available from SE for purchase.

I'm still goign to get the K850i; branded from my provider still but good enough. I will also be getting the W760i - I just love that slider - and possibly the W980i. The W890i is a great looking phone but even the BT file transfer speed seems crippled.

haha i did the same! its an incredible phone. it felt right from the moment i held it. ive been using it to watch old episodes of mythbusters on divx in my lunch breaks.

I'm still waiting for the k850 firmware though. Id feel bad selling it in its current state.

Ahhhh.... Now I know why they've postponed it. I'm sure the new K850 firmware will include the features of C902, and also a fresh UI. Products will be more segregated from now on, too.

Nah i don't think so. They won't add that much changes to an already released phone.

You're talking about the old - what happened last night? A new era. MANY things will be changed from now on.
