You can set advanced options like bitrates and codecs on the Video tab, and M3 will remember your chosen settings between restarts.
M3 already uses source framerate for the output framerate, providing that source framerate is below the profile's max framerate. For example a 23.976 video using the K800 profile is output at 23.976 and not 25 fps.
The info tab doesn't currently reflect this fps information, so i understand the confusion. |

Im having trouble encoding my own at a decent bitrate.
Is there a thread that I am missing or a location to download pre-encoded videos for the larger screen sizes of the K800/K790 ? |

When i was doing films for the k800i i used these settings.
Screen - 320 x 240 (or max of 352 x 288 )
Video bitrate - 325 kbps
Audio - 96 or 128
Framerate between 20 - 25 fps. (makes a difference to outputed file size)
these settings produce excellent quality. |

I have just tried to encode one of my music videos and I got the following errors:
Couldn't open input file in HIDE mode! Exiting.
and
There was a problem indexing the mpg file, processing aborted.

I have already successfully converted this video using Videora for my iPod so I know its not a dodgy mpeg. Can you tell whats wrong with it? |

Hi every peeps.. Thats wrong! Hi every body! LOL
I've been flitting from the 1st and 2nd page on this topic, then the 21st an 22nd so I may have missed the point.
Has anyone tried "Super" It's an exelent video doobry that can convert just about any video format to almost any portable device Inc. the PSP. You can sit there in Colledge/ Office watching pre-recorded News or films on your mobile. It's only a 4Kb setup file and very easy to use, I've just stuck Cheech and Chong's up in smoke on my mobile, it plays perfectly and no sound lag either...
