The site is ok for getting to know about bluejacking, but on the forum you get banned for having an opinion.

All bluejacking sites are the same IMO, because the forums are all run by kids. Annoy them by not having the same opinion as them and before you know it you're banned.
I once got banned from a PS2 website for not liking Britney Spears - i said she had a fat neck.

lol, I run and used to run a site, i'm coming on 16 but I don't ban for those reasons. I think it's because they're geeky kids, who spend there lives in search of internet power. being a moderator... pressing the ban button!

I too think Britney has a fat neck. But that's a wee bit off topic.
Back on:-
Bluejacking can be fun, but sadly there don't seem to be many people with visible phones these days-guess all the publicity has made it have a more sinister undertone than just the bit of harmless fun it's intended to be. Obviously sending certain things (p0rn, abusive or threatening messages) is totally unacceptable.

so this goes on alot then does people sending porn and abussive messages to one another? if so its a shame as nice as the breats i was sent earlier were still thought it was out of order as the person sending to know who would be recieving it.

It's a good idea to set your K750i to HIDE PHONE.
I don't wish to be alarmist but it is easy and relativly cheap to modify a USB Bluetooth Dongle to send a Bluejacking signal more that a mile (in favourable conditions). Also two Israeli students have written a program which fools your phone into thinking it was already paired but lost the signal. The upshot of this is that your phone establishes a connection without beeping and asking your permission, bypassing the security measures and giving them access to your info without your knowledge. That program is not available as far as I'm aware - they wrote it just to prove it could be done.

Here in Sweden BlueJacking is still just harmless fun. Not many people have even heard of it...
If you just keep it clean there's almost never a problem.
I BlueJacked one from the staff of a Voda-shop and wished him a happy holiday and he just stood there with a big smile on his face. Then I stood by the window and waved to him and he waved back and still had that big smile.... THAT'S the kind of reaction you want to get

Well i've never been bluejacked, so no, it does not, and i keep my Bluetooth on and discoverable all the time.
Only a select few morons send abusive messages.

Well, like i said in a previous post:
In fact, of all the older phones that are at risk, only a small portion of them are vulnerable, and theres an even smaller portion of people who have the knowledge and software to bluesnarf phones.
Theres no reason to worry about your phones security, therefore theres no reason to turn your Bluetooth off or hidden.

Only reason to turn BT off in that case would be to save the battery. Maybe it doesn't drain that much battery, maybe it does. But it DOES drain battery.

So does turning the phone on.
I cannot say ive noticed any difference in battery life when having Bluetooth on or off. Bluetooth is a very weak signal that doesnt actually use up much more power.
Only when communicating with another device will battery life suffer significantly - such as when in use with a headset, or an application that uses Bluetooth (like Mobiluck).

Like I said, maybe it eats your battery maybe it doesn't, or that's what I meant anyway...
Well it doesn't maybe use alot of battery, but it DOES use battery. But prolly you won't even notice it...
