Today whilst sitting having a greasy brekkie at my local cafe my phone beeped at, on the screen said '' incoming data'' with the options accept or decline obviously i accepted and to my surprise the next thing i saw on screen was a lovely pair of womens breasts. My question is did the person doing this know who it was being sent too and if the person didnt know i feel something like this sent to the wrong person could really offend. |

Yup, it's called bluejacking. you send messages and pics to random phones, however some people are more rude. it could have offended someone, best send something back, wait for a beep and someone to move, and go punch his lights out

not me, some people do. ive sent a few funny messages like 'you're being watched' etc.... you can turn your phone off, possibly go to settings and see if there are any lock down features, some phones allow you to have to accept all incoming things, and then you can decline things from people you don't know.
edit: have a read of this good thread! : http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=15976

I wasn't assuming, i was saying him rather than saying him/her or it. It's just a quicker way of typing, don't take offence!
It's like saying sons in the bible when it means everyone descended. Anyways, you can just turn your BT off. It depends on the range of your phone's bluetooth. Could be from outside, could be from right next to you, possibly even upstairs!
