Vodafone Australia sells the Vodafone branded K750i outright for $599, which is the cheapest I've seen so far!

Does anyone know the difference between Vodafone branded phones and unbranded phones, apart from the Quickshare logo down the bottom saying Vodafone instead?

yeah, you get Vodafone's shocking DRM (you can only play MP3s that you've bought off Vodafone as ringtones and alarms) and their icons/GUI really sucks.

You can pay online to get the phone flashed. Look in the Sony Ericsson "software" section of this forum.

That would be pretty pants.

The ability to be able to upload and use any MP3 you like for these features is one of the best bits of the phone IMO.

K750i is fantastic value for its $600odd; no regrets whatsoever.
There's the equivalent of a Cybershot Mu20 ($300 2MP) and
an $150 iPod shuffle in there - most impressive.

4 weeks down and I still can't think of anything else I'd wish for in there.

Get one! (just avoid the Voda-crippled ones...)

Has anyone else seen the K750i TVC from SE on their telly?

I believe www.imobile.com.au will have a review up soon too.

Picked up a Quickshare model a week ago, good price of AUD $599 but only had to pay $539 (had some gift vouchers).

Really happy with it!
