aha...@a..those who dont have a web browser can still browse wap sites on the phone and have full web access on a pc or notebook...now for those who dont have a pc + dont have a web browser in the phone+ want free mms+want full web access +want to crib about all of the above.....They can go **** themselves...................................................................
you know what i mean

this only applies to those who meet all the criteria above...so @a ...you and @blu are exempt

@blu...i used to face this prob initially with my k700i on airtel mumbai...it got rectified when i changed the preferredconnection mode to "gprs only"..
and then switch it back to automatic after the net session...why dont you try that?

I think Indians are too soft on these operators ... look at the phillipines ..globe telecom got grilled for blocking wap sites and was forced to restore things back to normal after the customers threatened to switch to rival telecoms. But I guess we still are smarter. We just leave.

which is better for WAP access? airtel prepaid or airtel postpaid?

does anybody know of any tricks by which we can see those blocked sites on hutch/orange itself?

Gprs users in india are very few and it really doesnt matter the company unless i am mistaken. I dont there there is a way to access those blocked sites. Try accessing them via google wap search. . . It may work.
