Orage India blocking WAP sites? |

for plain gprs orange charges 99 per month but i have a problem ..... ever since i converted my prepaid card to postpaid it's WAP access is getting limited to almost nothing. now i've bought a new prepaid orange card but the problem still persists. Especially with the TAGTAG sites, please help. is it that they're blocking sites or is something wrong with my phone? Please help me out.

Hi neha. Yes its orange blocking those sites...you in bombay? If yes, better switch to airtel...welcome to esato by the way. Check out the se india thread too!

Yes, Tag Tag Sites have been blocked by orange since about 6 months now... And welcome to esato.

you might wanna switch to airtel and get the mobile office...which gives unlimited web access for 199 per mnth in bombay

nope...no free mms..but who cares about mms or wap when you have unlimited web access

there should be some kind of a wap proxy server, for viewing those sites, they had the best content

hutch sucks.....atleast in bombay! hey where else do they have hutch? Its coverage isn't anywhere as wide as airtels.

Hi... The Mumbai people r lucky then..coz in Delhi i hv 2 spend Rs 450/month 4 unlimited gprs/internet access, let it b Airtel,Hutch(Orange), or Idea!! i use Idea which doesnt block ne wap site xcpt the "indiatimes" one... Strange!!!??

Hmmm...indiatimes blocked on idea? Maybe thats because they sort of have a tieup with airtel??
