i did what you told me and I got this as soon sa it started on step 2

Dont cry, probably battery is dead thats all. Try to charge th battery in the dead phone for at least 2 hours. Or even better and possibly necessary charge it in another phone. I know someone who even wired up the V800 battery to a T610 with bluetack to charge it.
Its just a shame you chose davinci really - if we had known that davinci cannot flash R1Y005 files then we could have gone straight to Voda ones. |

Nope, dont think it does. I am curious about this block not accepted though. very odd. If you had a T28 cable we could fix this in a instant with setool.
Try the flash again and redownload the files - maybe they were corrupt in some way?

aww thats really making me sad now.
Wish I didn't get greedy now and try to flash my phone to a Z800.
strange thing is, i didn't do anything except check cid before it went dead.

I guess you were just unlucky. What happened when you tried to flash again? With recovery then main and fs? |

just told me the same error as mentioned above.
I'm hoping it's because I had a weak battery.
I wish someone could send me recovery and flash files that they knew worked.

They should work fine, but as i said this method is crude. I guess you will have to get some charge into the battery. By the way do you get the same error when just flashing main and fs? |

well this is great.
I tried another Main and FS and it reached the end 95% but I received the error message again that kept on looping.
Now I have 0 credits left.
I had 2 and now 0 despite it not have finished.
themarques, it'd be great if yo ushowed up around now to help me. gbrook's been great.

looks like flashing it myself isn't going to work especially since I dont have a T28 cable.
Anyone have any suggestions for me, this phone is BRAND new.
Bought off ebay though.

You should be able to flash even without credits - the only thing you need credits is to finalize. |

finalization uploads customize.xml to /tpa/preset/custom/ in the filesystem.
If this is not in the phone - when you power on the phone you will get
"configuration error..........................." and phone is useless until you get it finalized - but you dont need to flash it again.
by the way, method is fine - i really think you should get a charged battery or T28 cable so we can repair it with setool - i have never used davinci in my life so my knowledge with this software is rather poor.... |
