Since you have reached the apex of mobile phones (vertu), the only way is down and humble yourself. Try getting a nokia 2110i (the grand dame of all nokias) or a 1610. LOL.
Kidding aside, you are part of the blessed few to get a Vertu.
Or if you want,since the casing is made of steel I think, dismantle the parts and screen, remove the casing then go to you local jewelry store and have it gold filed not gold plated (18k). Then there you have already upgraded your vertu.
If you get bored with it, have it encrusted with real diamonds.
