My HUGE problem is that I am from South Africa, and ALL these services require payment through PayPal, which isn't available to us. So now I am a bit stuck.
One thing I am looking at is my cable and 1 credit was bought through 'UnlockItNow.com', which I paid for by credit card, and at a quick glance, they seam to use the TMS server app (can anyone verify this).
So it would be great if they do, cause then I can purchase credits through them to use with TMS.

By the way, i dont support TMS in any way - they are liars and cheats. Just copy copy copy from Setool!

of course the better way to go about it is to give them a run for their money, offer the latest firmware for everybody and give them some competition, rather than slandering their name.... that's not gonna stop anybody from using them you know

Just to say, killed my phone using davinci, then even further with tms.
Sent it to kingmobilephone, he repaired it and debranded it, fantastic service, emailed me to let me know he recieved it, then fixed and then sent it.

About TMS - soon we will se how good day are. And technically its not slander because it is true they copied SEtool's Patched Loaders.
The thing is SEtool don't need to compete with TMS they make more money with Standalone then they did with the server edition.

Can anyone one tell me how to flash/debrand my V800 to a Z800? I have read quite a few of the posts here and most mention 'SETOOL' and the likes, but no instructions?!?! Can I use the 'USB' cable that came with my V800 or do I have to purchase a different type? And If so, where from?
I have installed the USB Flash driver from the SE website, but am unsure how to proceed from there. Any detailed help will be appreciated, as I hate the Vodafone branding all over my precious moby.
I'm trying to join the revolution here, but where's it at?

V800 vs V802Se
Hi guys. I have a coulple of quick questions. I noticed that there are 2 phone models out there the v800 and v802se. Are they the same hardware wise? Its just a difference in the software?
Also which phone is better to have. (the v800 or the v802). Is it possible to flash both with z800i software (r01R00Y). I know u can flash the v800 to z800 but i did not see anywhere if you can flash the 802se to be a z800.
So my question is which phone should I get the v800 or the v802se?

since all V800 & V802 SE (Japanese version of V800) are branded with vodafone...the only way to debrand it is by upgrading it to Z800i
if u say u didn't see anyone has debrand / upgrade a V800 to Z800 ...see here and compare the icons with the picture here..

Hi! I tried to update my V800i to a Z800i using TMS and tried ALL of the vailable firmware versions. Every time, just after the flash loader has been copied, but before copying the firmware to the phone, TMS bombs out and gives me the error: Invalid COLOR in selected flash files.
Anyone have an idea what it is on about ?

You have the same problem as me. Your V800 is obviously a CID36 phone, and at the moment nobody offers a solution to upgrade firmware to Z800, even though the new Z800's are CID36
Does your screen-shot from TMS look anything like the one below?
