well then if they saved up for it they wont lose the damn thing...
this guy isnt stealing... he finds it, keeps it and if no1 comes to collect then its his....!!! what else should he do??? |

It doesnt matter how you pay for a phone you can still easily lose it, it seems clear to me that his dad finds them, turns the phone off and then just keeps them, therefore depriving the owner of the use of the phone.
Fare enough he shouldnt have to run round like a dick handing phones in here their and everywere, but a simple phone call to a contact in the address book wouldnt harm any body

but if that guys dad isnt calling a contact or leavin the phone on so the owner could call to find where it is..... then he's a THIEF.... call the cops quick!!!!! |

I wouldnt hand it in cos that lads dad might work there anall lol, i would leave it on n see if any body calls, but if i found a proto-type P1000 i would run a mile with it up my jumper hahaha

Wouldn't it be better to leave it to the police and if none comes to claim it as theirs in 4 (I think) months the finder gets to keep it legaly. Thats the way it works in Sweden anyway. My friend got himself a new camera that way and according to the police he talked to when he handed it in, the finder often gets to keep the find since no one claims it.
