I dont think that the 7710 will be slow while browsing, I have a 9500, and while surfing, its damn fast. Compare it to my k508, I think all the K508 saw was the Smoke blazing at the 9500's trail. I get a link seed of 460.8 kbps, and Data downloads at something like 18-25 KBps. I'm using Airtel (banglore) with EGPRS.

That has nothing to do with the processor, but is simply the camera foucsing. I have a US$1,000 digital Canon SLR camera but I still have to hold the camera still when taking
pictures!

what the hell are you smoking? i have a canon d20 and it takes 5 pictures per second, and it really does take a picture when you hear that click.....

I decided to buy nokia 7710 before but when i try it, the hand writing recognition was not that responsive and its damn slow. The handwriting recognition on pxxx series is much better. So i back out buying this unit.

With the DVB-H trials about to start in Oxfor looks like the 7710 will be the weapon of choice.

We thought it was a damn cool phone too http://www.lordpercy.com/nokia_7710_review.htm

That phone is pretty ugly. And using it with one hand to dial pretty much impossible. I don't think it will find that many fans.

I think it's sexy and in the first 2 weeks of arriving in France vendors were all out, so, so much for your predictions of doom and gloom
Wide screen is great for watching movies and the sound quality rocks!

Down here in South Africa the waiting list is 4-5 weeks ! Is a direct competitor to the old P910i.SE should have risen up to the challenge, but they did'nt . . .

I tried out my friends 7710 and I notice the UI was really lagging and handwriting recog. was really slow. The only obvious advantage it has over the p910 is
1. Larger screen
2. Edge
3. Better audio.

And a better camera and don't fool yourself buddy. The 7710 is in another league altogether ;-) nokia can't even saturate the european market. Here in South Africa I can only dream about a device like that :-(

Cant agree its in another league. Its processor is too sluggish. The P910 is not that good too in this department, but its better than this!
