I've just upgraded to a new Nokia 7710, and I have to say I am
well impressed. With an excellent high quality Widecreen, Mp3 player and megapixel camera this camera kicks ass. While it doesn't have a keypad like the Nokia 9500 - which I had considered - I find the touch screen very effective and easy too use. For music lovers, the bass response on this phone will certainly appeal.
Anyone else have this phone? Are there any decent applications that can be found for it?

I agree, had a look at it in the shops and this phone has got what it takes...
personally the widescreen did it for me...

I think the 7710 is quite sexy, it was released last week in France and the buzz here is rather positive. What peolpe seem to like most about it is the amazing software package. Check out this demo I found, it'll really give you an idea of what it's like:

I've found the picture quality of the Nokia 7710 to
be generally excellent, especially when the lighting is good. It struggles a bit in low light conditions though, so use good artificial lighting.

I had a look at one a couple of weeks ago.Yes it can be considered the Mercedes Benz or Porshe or whatever, but has got a few shortcomings too.The one which bothers me most is gsm only ! Ok it has Edge but still the 6630 is lighter and S60 ! I wonder what the P910i chaps are saying.Nokia does not expect big money from it.Is only ment for hi-tech wizards.While it cost about the same as a P910i is about 2x as good in every other aspect.But still the 6630 is more practical,has more software and is cheaper!

I fully agree. It *is* sexy. Very good software. And the battery life is excellent (lets you listen to your MP3s without problem). Loudspeaker is of very good quality as well. |
