This thread is about the rumor that Globe will offer something similar to Sun's 24/7. Some thought it would a cellular service, but it turned out to be a globelines/innove program.

the rumor circulating is that one's Globe Hanyphone would be able to call and text unlimited for 5 Globe numbers... take note, rumor. |

I hope that they'll launch something similar ASAP. Almost everybody has a SUN SIM as a back-up.

hmmm... kahit hindi na 24/7 scheme kasi that will clog the globe lines... siguro something like a "premium" for loyal globe users (prepaid/postpad) .... like free GPRS?

ders a news na magkakaron ng parang unlimited 2-way radio service ang GLOBE for postpaid users kaso mga newer models lang ata ang pwede like 7610.di ito joke ok. |

Push-to-Talk(PTT) or Push to talk over Cellular(POC) is an open-standard for VOIP using GPRS - well, at least some of them implement it over GPRS.
Since it's on GSM, then it uses 900, 1800 or 1900 Mhz, depending on your location.
PTT/POC is Network and Phone dependent.
For me, I'd rather wish they'd offer fixed-rated unlimited GPRS.
