It's true: Globe is coming up with a call-anytime,anywhere-in-the-philippines-free- for their landline service, Globelines. No news yet regarding the mobile phone service. But I have a feeling that Globe and Smart are going to follow suit (on a more limited basis, though) what Sun has been doing. Remember last year, Sun started the low call rates and no peak/off peak system. Globe and Smart followed suit in January this year. So I have this nagging feeling that the top 2 are going to come up with a service similar to 24/7 in January 2005. The heated competition is really good for us end-users. I hope BayanTel and Extelcom join the mobile phone network industry soon.

Ahh.. so it's gonna be an Innove promo.

Well, you can now replace your landline phone with Sun's CTU 24/7. Especially if you don't do dial-up. It could be as cheap as P100 a month.

Mas mahal pa yung landlines.

I don't think they (Globe) can afford to do that. They can't even offer it to those subscribers who can afford to pay 3.5k a month. So 24/7 sun is the best deal so far. Para ka na ring nakapostpaid

Though both smart and globe are both leaders in innovation (Gcash etc), they forgot the main need of subscribers are calling and texting.

Then again we can only speculate what their plans are.

thats solely for globelines.yes, under innove promo.globe handyphone wont pursue that and i dont think they should.as we all know, globe aims for quality service.its the ayala trademark of work ethics for many many years which practically all of us (from generation to generation)have benefited from.from banking to I.T. to food processing to malls etc...the ayala conglomerate is the real mccoy.philippine scenario.such a promo would not only congest the network, therefore sacrificing good service, but would likewise tantamount to lowering the image of the company.globe doesnt deserve that.

Is this the globelines No-NDD charges promo? Only post-paid Globelines calling another globelines phone is applicable.

shouldn't the title give you any hint about the topic of discussion?

try searching for older threads. am sure you'd come up with threads about smart too.
