oh, and i called the SE Customer Service in the US and they said that because the phone was purchased in Europe that they wouldn't be able to fix it at the one SE Service Center in the States (about 600 miles from my house)

So there has to be a way for me to repair the firmware myself using Total Multiserver, right??

not sure if you can repair phones with multi server. Your phone probably needs a total rebuild of its GDFS area. DIV and the lasers setool can do this (terminator dongle needed - cheap) and of course the more expensive solutions.

Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Thx! but hmm... not sure what all that is. multi server has a "write GDFS to the phone" option but i don't know where to find this file. thoughts? i have a SE F500i, i'm not sure if i mentioned that before...

Can you speak to and ask whether they think it's possible to fix yourself ?

They maybe able to give you some tips as to the best way to sort it ?
