@jojo
The last time a member said he was a SE employee he was was swamped with questions about various things, not to mention a good deal of cynicism regarding his claims to work for SE. That is probably why SE employees don't announce their status.

@scotsboyuk - So, in effect and true to conforme . . . they will really remain 'anonymous' in every discussion site, name witheld due to very strict confidentiality clause - as always! 'Hear no Evil' and 'See no Evil' will only apply . . .as they are barred from 'Speaking' at all ! |

I feel very much comfortable with "Esato" and that is beyond any credits I can imagine. It provided me a mirror to which informations are being reflected. An echo that brings me back and forth to all the corners of the world and I found you guys. What more it deserves, maybe all the answers are just there waiting for the right time.

Aww man why did ya stop ? I found it quite amusing to find your anti S700 slogans and arguments in every nook and cranny of Esato.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !! |

Laffen was in a dialog with a coupple of years ago to try to get some financial suport for the running of Esato. The outcome of that is history...
Personally, and as mentioned several times allready, I am in favour of Esato being independent. If Esato was suported by we couldn't have said exactly what we think of their phones and they wouldn't have been able to get the "objective" info they are after from sites like Esato.
Norway does help Esato a lot though.
Borrowing phones for testing and prizes for Playtime is just a coupple of things they help out with.

@tranquil - I liked your last post, kept me abreast as to Esato's past and present situation ! I only knew now that Norway is in a way contributing to the Playtime Contest et al I thought that majority if not 'all' of the prizes were contributed by Esato's members, and some were siphoned from Esato's Merchandise Cabinet. |

I rather give donations to Esato than loosing it's independency...
Laffen has done a great job. But how about Float? He has done a terrific piece of software that every user uses: FMA.
I don't think he's getting much support from about it.
Don't get me wrong. I think laffen should be supported by but if it means losing it's independence, no thanks.

Esato is best advertisement for se. Sadly, if lets say se would donate sometimes accesoires for esato, it would mean already a kind of direct connection to se, even theoratical.
