There is nothing wrong with me. I just want to know what happened since I can't find the topic about this "apology" and havent read anything about it. I was absent back then so I would be happy someone to PM me and explain to me the story.
And since this is a subject that is not related to this topic (I guess) lets continue this discussion by sending me a PM.

@ mince - one easy way to find out the procedure is to post some swear words or pictures of naked ladies in your next post and see what happens......
Then again, perhaps not, I could get a ban for inciting you!

I would like to know who got banned and why? That's just me. I'm nosey. I doubt a thread will be started, but if you want to read it feel free, if not stay out. If you can't do the time don't do the crime.

I guess @masseur's , Vlammetje's, @mince-inside et al, made some clarifications 'clearly' expounding more basing it on their own 'OPINIONS' !!! Yup! There are rules here on esato, as Vlammetje's lamented vocally - there are rules to follow and failure to aibe by it gets its qualifying sanctions But I authored this thread in order for me to be enlighten as to the cause of the ban and eventually what will be the 'effect' to the individual being limited Yes! Mods gives warning pms before ever doing so . . . but to what extent
Many are saying that @masseur is getting 'strict' specially a couple of months after he was elevated to where he is now, at times I really do understand his job here as a moderator - it's really a 'no joke' - 'pleasing' 40K ++ members of esato is quite a task, personally speaking of all the mods here he's the 'strictest' of them all, specially when locking the threads-abruptly. But, yes, just who will not initiate the very cautious move but him At least, there is some normalcy being felt here at esato when @masseur's around !
I just hope that all the Mods will have some leniency and must apply a lot of 'consideration' to every situation in every thread As we say here in Manila - 'maximum tolerance' mates
I remain . . .

I got banned for three days. I posted on all of the topics in the general forum and my name was on every one. I don't know why I did it. I'll never do it again though, the 3 day ban was horrible, I was craving posting.

I tried to edit my post this morning and when I clicked on submit, then I had a message, that I'm banned and for questions I must contact admin. Man I was so . I mean, why? I didn't nothing. Then I tried to login and I was here. I was so happy, that it was probably some error. That was a terrible one minute for me.

As already posted by masseur and others, a violation of forum rules and/or the terms of service may get you banned.
The effect of a ban is the inability to post in the discussion forums. A ban that is more encompassing is an IP ban, and this is rarely used as it may affect innocent users from logging into the site.
Users banned temporarily can still read the discussions (without having to log in), or login into their accounts and access their PMs.

Masseur had been doing an excellent job as a moderator. As a community member (before and after he was made a moderator), he had made lots of contributions to a wide-ranging discussions. As a moderator, he has been very pro-active and seemingly omnipresent in all sections of the board.
As for "'pleasing' 40K ++ members of esato is quite a task", I'm sorry to say that that is not included in the job description of a moderator. Some things aren't made to be always fun and easy, and being a mod is one of them.

I hope that clears it up for you. And I will second masseur's call to keep out names and personalities from this thread, and keep the discussion in general.
