The T68 can hold 40 SMS across all mailboxes (Inbox, Sent...) in phone memory. Acording to www.tsixtyeight.com.
Is the T68i upgrade different?

I think the t68i can hold 70 in phone memory, but I haven't tried it myself. Anyway, it is stupid that it isn't infinite - the memory for images and ring tones should be used too!

i guess the mem for sms is not shared with the ringtones pic screensaver and MMS ..

how about upgrading your simcard? i recently exchanged my 32k sim for a 64k one, the higher memory sim the faster the performance. it's just like adding more ram in your computer.

actually something I found out is I will be able to send out sms faster if I change the following settings....

(dunno will create other problem or not... heard will not receive SMS)

Connect, Data comms, SMS access change to GPRS!

I think I have a solution to this problem.
When I want to store a message on the sim, I start by forwarding it, but when I come to the point where I put in the number I abort the operation. Now I have 1 message in the unsent group. Here I can store the message on the sim because in this group I don't care if it's slow.

I hope this can solve some of your problems...

I also noticed that if your phone memory is in its limit it makes the phone elly slow... my memory for pictures, smsm is down to 50kb

Can ne1 tell me how you select which 1 ( sim or phone) u want ur msgs to be stored in? does it matter bout sim?
