The T68 can hold 40 SMS across all mailboxes (Inbox, Sent...) in phone memory. Acording to www.tsixtyeight.com.
Is the T68i upgrade different? |

I think the t68i can hold 70 in phone memory, but I haven't tried it myself. Anyway, it is stupid that it isn't infinite - the memory for images and ring tones should be used too!

i guess the mem for sms is not shared with the ringtones pic screensaver and MMS ..

how about upgrading your simcard? i recently exchanged my 32k sim for a 64k one, the higher memory sim the faster the performance. it's just like adding more ram in your computer. |

actually something I found out is I will be able to send out sms faster if I change the following settings....
(dunno will create other problem or not... heard will not receive SMS)
Connect, Data comms, SMS access change to GPRS! |

I think I have a solution to this problem.
When I want to store a message on the sim, I start by forwarding it, but when I come to the point where I put in the number I abort the operation. Now I have 1 message in the unsent group. Here I can store the message on the sim because in this group I don't care if it's slow.
I hope this can solve some of your problems... |
