ok i need to add something.
I updated my p800 like two months back and my P800 has a similar interface to the P900. The picture's now have a stop and resume (for the gifs) I can click on the images and get a full view, the shadowing is better.
Now before that update my phone looked very simple. Had hardly anything, let alone a full screen option.
Isn't that showing SE getting the P800 closer to the P900

I have tried the 'magic' upgrade and it failed completely. Not worth wasting your time trying.
I never thought thought that I would say this, but please shut this thread down moderators. Just look at the sort of posts that are appearing e.g. you can't use bad words or I'll tell my mum, my friend says it can be done so there!, SE are making me cry, why won't the cool kids play with me? etc
Its a sad state of affairs when people abuse their right to freedom of speech to make our eyes bleed reading this tosh.
@all who think it terribley unfair that SE 'isn't doing anything' to help you
I have included the following links, because after reading back over the previous posts and taking time for quite introspective, I have come to the conclusion that we are now facing the greatest injustice in human history. We must oppose this tyranny wherever we see it. To that end I have included the links below, please support my campaign of asking the EU and the US to immediately imposr sanctions on Sweden and Japan until SE comes to its senses. I have also set the wheels in motion to take this to the Internation Courts of Justice, once I explained the situation they quite rightly put the Israeli-Palestinian case on hold. Likewise the UN Security council should be discussing this burning topic and hopefully we shall be able to get some humanitarian relief to the poor P800 users who feel they are in need of support. This is an absolute travesty, if anyone knows Sir Bob Geldoff's number I implore you to get him on board, a big charity concert is just what we need.

I don't own a p800 but...Has anyone having both p800 and p900 tried this: Try updating the p900...follow all the steps and when the update is downloading remove your p900 and put p800 in the docking station.(it must be turned off). Then when it tries to install the software see what happens...(I haven't tried it ofcourse...) |

I heard Bob Geldoff is booked for a concert to help Apple sell more iPods.
I did call SE Germany and Sweden and got the follwoing info. They both basically said that the P900 has only "one" processor, so if anyone can post where in a commercial marketing campaign they advertised two processors, we have them misrepresenting their product and this is illegal. They both mentioned(I almost laughed hysterically) when they mentioned the video camera. I told them that Phillips has one and the phone went silent. Point conceeded. Finally they came to the 65K screen. I conceeded this point. So with a finally tally, it would appear that the P800 and P900 are the same phone minus the screen. I did not bother to mention the self upgrading because here we are still paying for it one way or another. I have DSL and pay a monthly feel to Deutsche Telekom so when I upgrade, I use my own DSL to upgrade an SE product. Also, self upgrades take the load off of the service points. Imagine trying to do 10 upgrades a day. That amounts to 10 hours of upgrades, so SE passed that off to the consumer.
In short, we got robbed and I am a bit pissed about it. They also mentioned that the P800 to P900 upgrade can not happen because the server looks at the hardware of the phones involved. So, Switchblade and Energertic are not truthful. |

I think its because of your ... problem ... I know I said I wouldn't bring it up again, but ten bottles a day is just too much Mixin. Get some help before its too late, if not for yourself then for the children. Won't someone think of the children?

It never fails to amaze me that the originators of these hoaxes are never around to defend their statments. Switchblade has obivoulsy had several days to weeks to put his hoax together and then post it.
For the record, the P800 is VERY, VERY similar to the P900, so those who said this originally are correct. Did we all get duped by SE into buying the P900? Yup.
Can anyone post actual quotes by SE claiming two processors in their advertising campaign? With this, we would possibly have the chace to force their hand. Outside of this, SE will dupe us again. |
