I remember this from R320 when I was working in Malaysia. I checked with the (then) Ericsson terminal engineers. Thay claimed it had something to do with the Character settings for Chinese. It is something that makes it tricky to use different font settings if you have a character setting in your phone support Chinese. At that time there was no solution available. I think you have to try with some SE engineers in Singapore, they might have an answer better than mine

3. sending e-mail dosen't work with a smtp server using sendmail (haven't verifyed that this is the reason i cant send mail, but read it elsewhere here and it sounds likely)

Didn't know there was anyone else here that had heard of Sendmail
I've been playing with the config on my server a bit (but got bored) with no luck.
Anyone having a working relay conf?

My 2 cents :
1. I would like to be able to know if my phone keypad is locked when the clock screensaver is displayed.... Should show some sign on the screen.
2. Definetely remove the 'C' function of erasing phonebook entries when browsing through it. All my friends with Nokia phones did end up with 'do you want to erase contact' when they first tried mine... This shows it's an illogic function ... especially when you had a Nokia !!
3. Don't see the use of the screensaver if it defaults back to clock after 10 secs ... rather have a animated background possibility.
4. Phonebook : an Adress field would help .. or at least to have the 'other' field able to accept letters and not only digits.
5. The blue led is tooooooo cool !!! why only use it for Bluetooth ??? how about make it flash when you have a message waiting for you .. or stay lit when you are in a call.
That's about it for now |

How do you make the Screensaver stay on longer?????
I think it just stays on for a second or two then the screensaver clock would activate.. its kinda useless with that short of time dont you thinks???

I have the English/Indonesia/Malaysia language version T68i. I also face a problem with the font size in the phone book / call list being large irrespective of what size your display font size is set to. This is a major nuisance when searching for contacts in the phonebook, because the name you are searching for is highlighted but off the screen. If you switch text size to Medium, the searched name appears at the very bottom of the screen, and if you choose large text, it obviously works fine. This totally ruins the benefit of having a phone with a hi res screen.

I have the exact same problem with my Asian T68i. It's already ay R2B025. Any news on a fix?
I also have another bug to report. When you have multiple messages come in, reply to the first one and include the original message in the reply. After sending it, read and reply to the next message. If you also choose to include the original message in the second reply, you'll see that the text that will be included is from the very first message you replied to (and will also be sent to the sender of the first message). |
