I think its fair to say it is in our best interest to make an extensive bugreport so our phones get even better... so im asking all you guys with t68i with r2b025 (and the few with t68m with r2b025) to tell us about the bugs you've found (and if possible how to reproduce them) and i'll forward the list to a SE guy who's willing to try to make it reach the right people.
thank you in advance...
so far i have found the following:
1. go to my sounds, option key, memory status, go to one of the folders and then back by pressing no... then the ringtone from the my sounds folder will play even if you are in the memory status menu
2. the files you upload to the phone seems to take more space on the phone than on the pc... :/ phone said 600kb free when it asked to save a 7.5kb .gif... afterwards it said 584... :/
3. sending e-mail dosen't work with a smtp server using sendmail (haven't verifyed that this is the reason i cant send mail, but read it elsewhere here and it sounds likely)
4. When the phone fails sending a mail it says, "mail sending failed" and then "mail sent" and then saves it into drafts
5. still no keylock when playing mp3
6. when playing mp3 and recieving a sms music stops when you reply (happens randomly)
7. sometimes when replying to a sms while playing mp3 the keys both input the given letter AND change the track or turn the volume up or down.
8. when using chatboard the first letter is still small and the next ones big unless you use the shift+space thingy... and that dosen't work every time..
9. when using chatboard and pressing the "attach" key the phone does some strange things... it was over "delete contact" after a few presses
10. when using hbh and voice caller you sometimes only hear half the name of the person calling you after the beep

thats about it...
minor issues i know... but if they plan on continuing developing the software they might as well fix the smaller things too
oh and please only post bugs you found in r2b025 as bugs from previous versions could already be fixed...

The email problem is as following:
an smtp server needs authentication in advance before sending your email, you can solve this by creating a pop3 account at
www.gmx.net (german) this provider uses the pop3 account for authentication of it's smtp server. The problem is that the gprs provider isn't a full ISP, they deliver the gateway but forget to deliver also the smtp server. So you have to use external ones. The external ones are blocked because of abuse threats by spammers. So a solution is to create an email account at www.gmx.net

Bleh sounds like the email client haven't been fixed then.
I opened up an SMTP server who is not sendmail (its exim)
try using it to send an email to per@ljusdal.net
You won't be able to send to anyone else since I only opened
that server up to relay mail to @ljusdal.net and will close that
too as soon you tested it.
outgoing mail server: 80.65.204.15 port 25
Anyone with R2B025 try emailing me with that server.
If that works but other servers don't it looks like the bug is not fixed yet. (I could arrange for ppl to test a sendmail smtp also).

Scoota diffrent problem.
I am the cheif tech of an ISP
I set up many smtp servers
and the phones e-mail client will hang/reboot/fail if I use a
server with sendmail (very common smtpd)
but it will work with exim (basic smtpd).
I reported that to but they answered that
they *thought* the problem was fixed in the
latest software version for T68i and that I should
upgrade and try.
To me its just annoyanse but I can get around it since
I got access to set up smtp's for me to use but
it will affect alot of other persons.
To mention one Swedens biggest phonecompany
uses sendmail for their GPRS customers.
(and that won't work for ppl with T68i and R2A014 as I have)
I was hoping the bug was fixed but this thread made me
think perhaps it's not.
Therefor I would like him to test the exim server I set up
and if it works for him there I could give him access to test
a sendmail server if it fails there and works on the exim
same bug still exist in the latest version.

I see someone tried it already and faild
Like I said you can only send to me per@ljusdal.net
when you test this server since I only put it up to
test the software in the phone and do not want the
server to be used to send spam. (and get blacklisted)

That do not happen to me, it could take cpl of minutes
before the phone shows about the same reading as it did before turning it off (if you turn it on in same location) sometimes I get a litle bit more sometimes a bit less most of the time about the same.

You shouldn't be able to delete contacts when just browsing the names! Nokia users use 'c' to cancel menu's, and could end up deleting names...

Someone also mentioned some sort of way of knowing you had missed calls\messages without unlocking the phone, such as LED faster blinking, or icons beside the clock

3 more bugs...
1. i had a voice lable for the normal profile and a voice lable for a contact which were the same?!? deleted both and recorded new ones and it worked
2. when waiting for the voice dial beep it dosent always come and thus the phone wont "listen" and just say no match...
3. the strange sounds when using headset when recieving sms and using sound recorder dosent always appear...

1)when press "down" on the joystick, those contacts are still in large font.

2)when animated-gif upload to the phone, it will takes a long time (2-3 minutes) to actually see a preview. Otherwise, you will just see a white box w/ black border. If you keep on looking at it, the phone will crash. Then when you restart the phone, the picture will have a "red x" across the pic preview. It also takes a long time to erase those "red x" pics.

those arent real bugs... ill try to explain:
1) on my phone the contacts are displayed in small letters (r2b025´) you sure you havent got r2a?
2) thats because the phone converts it to preview... the red x is cause the pic is too large... and the larger it is the longer time it takes to delete them logically... (on a pc when you press delete the file isnt deleted... only its entry in the fat so it will be overwritten by something new when that space is allocated again) on the phone it manages free space differently... the crash thing is true tho...
well i think we're about done with this... ill send it to the se guy sunday or monday... so keep posting if you have something to share!

Yes, I have R2B025. I just bought my phone 3 days ago. Types at the contacts are indeed in small size. What I meant to say is that when you at your normal screen (w/ background pic, operator logo, time...etc), press down on the joystick. It will bring up the "Call Contact" menu. All the names there are in large type instead of small types even though I set my type "small".

Also, when you just press "Yes" at the normal screen to bring up the "Call List", all types are large as well.

well they are small here... sorry to say that your phone may be flashed poorly... allow me to illustrate... http://epedemic.dk/t68i1.jpg

1 more bug found... when using wap and when the globe "hangs" and nothing happen you naturally press no and press yes to try again... but once you pressed no in a situation like this you can not press yes on wap without disconnecting entirely...
