Yepp, cause we have already paid for a phone with these features.
And if no Network Operator supports MMS, whats the deal of selling the T68i?
Once again weve been cheated!

Hey all
I am kindda new here and kindda not, you see i have been watching allmost every thread here for the past 2 months.
Well i like Barts idea 100% (he sent a very good e-mail to the compay who sold him the phone)
I fact i liked his idea so much so i tryed the same, i wrote an e-mail very similair to his, but a little longer, then i sent it to the shop where i bought my T68m (Orange)
Well after such long letter i expected somekind of a good or at least wise answer du instead i got an aswer that had a lenght of 2 lines!
Eventhough i in my e-mail has wrote that i had talked to Ericsson they gave me this little standard answer and told me to contact Ericsson!
It showed that they had not even read my letter!
sorry i know most of you guys must be very tired of this case but to me it is very important, now i have e-mailed Orange and before that i had called Ericsson here in denmark, their response was that they could not at all see my problem because the T-68i is a totally different product(yeah right!) and i was lucky that i didn´t have to pay for the upgrade when it was released sometime in the future.
Well all these facts combined makes me(along with a lot of other costumers, i am sure) feel ripped off, so i have decided to take to all the parts involved in this because if i keep doing it with the same kind of nice way i have done untill now, i´ll end up as the ball in a Ping-Pong game played by SE and , in this case, Orange.
Cheers Nico

The store there I bought it called me today and told me that they would be nice and let me upgrade my T68m for FREE whenever the MMS SW is released!? Have you heard anything more stupid? Its FREE from the beginning and as being as nice they are they would let me do it for FREE.
They are completley NUTS, I´ll never buy a thing there again!!
And to tell you all the sad truth, my phone "will get" the same error as I had it in for service last time again, and when they fixed it replaced it. Believe it or not get the same error again, and according to Swedish Consumer Laws a store has 2 tries to repair a product, then the customer has right to return the item and get the money back! And this is whats going to happen straight after Easter!

Subject: t68i question?
How could you guys do this to us, I just purchase a 500 USD t68m and now you release this one. I find it really unfair to us t68m users, will our phone at least be of the same features as the t68i with a firmware update.
I would love to hear from you.
Thank You

I have changed my T68m for a T68i at a Telia dealer here in Sweden. I had to pay the price difference of 200 SEK (€ 22, $ 19).

No, SE will provide the software for free to their ServicePoints and ServiCentres. Then it will be up to the Sp or Sc to charge you for the upgrade. My guess is that most dealers won't be charging anything but you never know. All I know is that I won't charge my customers anything for the upgrade!

Actually the store has three tries to fix any problem. If they can't fix it AFTER the third attempt, you can claim your right to return the item. |

So bart, you havent had yours changed yet???
after you kept us waiting with that annoying thread, "7days to go" or whatever it was. You told us it was possible. I thought you would have been one of the first to get your phone changed, after hearing such "good" news.
Or have you just been playing us for fools??? |

to peanut: EXACTLY! Ericsson promised that the software upgrade WILL be available when the MMS service is available (meaning: implemented by the teleoperators). And guess what, Telenor (a teleoperatore in Norway) has started MMS service! It's available RIGHT NOW!
But no way in Norway has got the upgrade, just like in the rest of the world. In that respect, SE has broken its promise.

I have the KKL in front of me and it clearly says "if an error still is available after 2 tries to solve it can you as a consumer return the bought item and you dont have to let them try to fix it once more"

FYI:

so i take it every body you all know has an mms phone then? That will explain why you are all so anxious to send mms all over the world? how many 'friends' do we all have with mms or should we just send them amongst ourselves here........

i can take my dealer into replacing my T68m for a T68i but the are not availeble yet here.
ericsson said that it was ok to replace the phone's but the new company SE said no and i believe if we send them one email a day they will get some 3000 a day the will have to give up and give us what we need the T68i |
