I got one of the first phones from SE, and had it about 6 weeks with no lockups. Then I got a warranty replacement from SE, put the same apps on it, and this one locked up today after 4 days of use.

Mine just locked for the first time and I think I know exactly what caused it: I asked it to play a 4 min Midi file as an alarm and after about 20 secs it just crashed. Haven't tried it again.

the first time i opened my p800, i got it, i was like cool full screen animation....., then i tried pressing any key and its still there so thats when i realized its a crash... so i removed the batt and placed it back up again... after much crashes i took a closer look at the animation, i tried doing the 10 second hold thing and that was it... i had the it for like ten times since i bought my phone which was about 2mos. from now.. my phone is r1d

...just thought of something on this, anyone care to confirm (or prove me utterly wrong!)?

This morning there were only about 300k left on the c drive (phone storage). I had a few things open, writting an SMS like mad, and, tada, triangle appears!

It occured to me the symbian os could be using something similar to the windows swap file, which presumably requires x amount of space on the 'root' (c) drive. Could lack of necessary space be a(n other) cause of the triangle?

Any thoughts welcome, as this would effectivelly mean we have a few k's less phone storage to play with...

Cheers

had yesterday my 3rd one, received an SMS, flip open, wanted to reply, wrote about 4 characters with the pen, then screen suddenly blanked out (like it switched off), and 2 seconds later the TSOD (triangle screen of death) appeared
