I Agree with pinolo77 SonyEricsson are nice with our minds well screw them im stuck with the stupid MCA-10 Communicam and word has it that the the MCA-20 will not work with the T68m!!!!Im very dissapointed anyway i think im gonna sell the phone and hit the Nokia 7650 Screw  blloody all words and no action and we run around from service point to service point getting the same answers all the time "Sorry sir we dont have any info on the upgrade yet" |

Half hour before I was take in my hand an MMS capable t68m phone. In this phone there is an old R1A 012 sw (this is an test version), with MMS, picture browser (in the phone there was 54 various format picture), picture phonebook (in the phonebook you able to setup what field would you like to see, adress, faxnumber, etc), ... The E/// guy who has got this phone told me that the T68m inside exactly the same like T68i (he told me T68 has abouk 650kb memory, but I think it"s a littlebit low for this functionality). He told me that the MMS sw for T68i will be arriving soon (we must to wait only some weeks). This guy is the responsible for MMS testing in Hungary, and I think he knows what he talking. It's mean that there WILL be an MMS upgrade (with all other feature). But I don't know exactly when, sooner or later  |

I think we should stop all this complaining about SE, Everybody is speculating but no one really knows what's going on. The upgrade for the T68m is going to be available as soon the T68i hits the shelves. This is great news, no other brand is as organized like SE. I think that a lot of posters not really read the posted articles on the forum but just want to cause roumours and disorder. Read the forum before u post!!!

I always read all posts in a thread before I post, I think a lot of others need to aswell. Fulika that's good news, and from a reliable source too, I'm happy again. That's was my only problem with this phone, other than that I think it's great, and I haven't got any problems with they've got a convert here, I'll probably stick with them |

i will still buy the t68m coz it is a great phone and you guys should be content with yours as long as you can receive and make calls, send text messages, browse the web etc. be happy and content with the phone if it works nicely. |

I'm sorry, I'm not speculating. I only write down what i saw. Now I sure, the phone has capable to hold the MMS sw, and other features. I saw a WORKING T68m with (an old test version) MMS sw. If the E/// guy lie to me then he is a lier, but I don't think that. I think he told me that he know at the moment. That's all. |

Well the manufacturers always upgrade their phones. Look at Nokia and the 3210, 3310, 3330 all of them are the same phones with some minor adjustments.
As long as I get the promised mms upgrade I will be happy.

Internet just made facts goto h*ll..
I used the new camera with the T68m - yes it works..
T68i software will work on T68m
T68i new Sonyericsson phone.
T68m same phone but ERICSSON.
since t68 made a huge success and because its an ERICSSON product, they then release it again with a new cover with more SonyEricsson style...
Might be more memory on the T68i, but thats it.. and thats memory for mms, pictures, melodies and such.. not programmemory..

I wrote a letter to my "contact-person" at SE, asking if he could please give some information about the memory-issue.
I told him, that a lot of people here at Esato, would like to have this information, if possible.
As soon as I hear from him, I'll let you guys and girls know

I dont think you can compare phones with cars. Car-manufacturers actually state right from the beginning, that several new models will appear within xx-months.
A true story : One car-manufacturer did facelift their models every now and then (3-6 months),..conclusion was : people got very angry with them, and their sales dropped.
I can see in other posts, that people feel insecure about SE,..comments like :
Dont buy know, they'll probably launch a new version soon, HAHA".
"You never know what to expect from SE".
I just wish that some clear information was given from the beginning,.eg. "T68i has exactly the same specs (memory and so on) as T68m, and they can use the same accessories".
That would have made this whole thing a lot easier

I know what you mean, now because of 's childish behaviour (hiding it, lying about it, denying it), all their clients are doubting them, have lost their trust in them and don't know what to think of them...
Not a very clever thing to do !!!!
Maybe they don't realise that WE are the people BUYING their phones... 
I just hope they DON'T let us down!

So,, where did they do wrong?..
They made a new company, sony and ericsson combined,,
They had 3 secret phones that they announced.
rumours where going about before about one of the phone..
(Try getting information about ANY new product before the company announced it at a pressconference..)
They announce it..
And its basicly T68 with a new cover matching their new company..
Cant seem to see the error they did here...
Not releasing info about it before they announced it seems like smart..
Demanding info about a nonannounced product seems stupid.
Saying that we got f**cked by SonyEricsson is just plain stupid..

And the communicam will work with the T68m (MMS). ONLY differences between the T68m and T68i is.
T68i has:
•Different front cover and back cover.
•No "rubber" backside.
•Little more memory.
•Label SonyEricsson
Why argy so freaking f***ing much about this IMPROVMENTS???
Be glad for sake that they are selling phones that people want. And that my friends that have nokia now got there eyes on . One of my friends said when he saw the new phones that they were really cool. And that probably will be bigger that Nokia in the future if they keep on doing this sort of mobiles. |
