I am not suggesting that the US should kill thousands. I am suggesting that a tyrant be removed from power. I dont want Saddam dead, I don’t want any one to die. But unfortunately Saddam will not leave quietly.
Just a quick note about all these anti-American posts... you would all be speaking German if it were not for us.

America never cared about anyone. America only cares for itself and Israel. I believe that America wants to kill suddam and the Iraqi people because 12 years ago during the gulf war Iraq shot rocket at Israel (as revenge for a prior Israeli attack)
Another reason is because of Oil (Everybody knows that) also boy creating a war America is guarantied to get income out of it that could potentially improve their lacking economy (America never went to a war without getting something out it
America defended Kuwait of the Iraqi attack ten years ago (Although Kuwait was independent of Iraq 50 years ago), why didn't America defend Egypt and Lebanon of the attacks from Israel.
Why is America the only country to always use Veto against Iraq or for Israelis favor
FACT: 3 billion $ is given every year to Israel from the money of the American tax payers.
You also mentioned things about America "Cleaning up". Where is it in Somalia? America went in and out to cause a bigger crisis

Those of you that think we are going to Iraq for oil only should look at France and why they don't want us to go. Maybe because they have guaranteed contracts with Iraq for several years to come at low low prices and they fear if we take over Iraq they wont get those same prices. Theres 2 sides to everything and everyone has a side agenda. Noone is such a "good guy" not US and not you guys. Remember that. In the end its all about money when you get right down to it. Either way his regime has to go and since no one else has the balls to do it, I guess we will have to as usual. Meanwhile noone mentions whos ass is on the line out there. Its us and GB noone else. So all you guys in EU do is sit there and talk while we are the ones to take action. If not for us alot of rouge nations/communists/terrorists would be running rampant worse than they are now in the world.
If 911 had happened on EU soil you all would be singing a different tune I suspect. You guys think that have a passive attitude will keep you out of harms way? heh guess again. When the terrorists get tired of hamering us, eventually they will find a reason to screw with you guys also. leaders liek Saddam need to ousted simple as that no matter what other agendas there are involved. Think about that.
Oh and do you really think Saddam won't be selling his WMD to anyone willing to buy them? Who do you think will be the buyers? Nice guys? Terrorists will buy them and use them. Could be here or could be anywhere in the world. So what do you passificts suggest we do? Let the inspectors continue this cherade and let Iraq buy more time, While he continues hiding/moving/selling his weapons? Oh i get it lets give him another year to come clean. The guy hasnt come clean in 12 years whats makes anyone think he will now? Lets get real. Its time to roll up your sleves and stop wishing things to be different and accept how things really are in the world. This needs to be taken care of, and just like a good parent would do if the kids dont know better to take care of themselves then some one has too. Thats someone is the US. Pure and simple as that. Sorry for the rant I just needed to get that out.

the terrorists that attacked on 9/11 entered the usa from canada. english came from a germanic tribe (the saxons i think) that also spoke it and migrated, settled mostly in the britsh isles. if not for the americans then europe would be speaking russian till today and the european immigrants would have no where else to go. they are historically & basically cousins.

This is not about U.S. during the WWII, this is about U.S. TODAY and you know it. And TODAY Germany is the one advocating for peace and trying to save lives while the U.S. are planning an invasion on a country which doesn't stand a chance against its almighty army.
It's ironic that today, at the very beginning of the new millennium, the U.S.A., supposedly the most advanced country in the world, is going to use the most primitive way to resolve a problem, a WAR. War is not the answer to anything and is only a huge human tragedy. Most of us Europeans already realize that, I guess most of you Americans still have to evolve to that level.
