hmm, cheers for that.... strange really, i thought it would have some cool techy stuff... and lots of shiny bits... knowing that its just a piece of enhanced cardboard is kinda dissapointing...

Ok, now that you lot have moaned about getting hold of the 128Mb DUO, now for the real kick in the teeth.
The DUO is based on the Full size Stick(so you can use it in the adapter like a real MS)
Memory stick is limited to 128Mb, (unlike the SD) they cannot make it bigger because of the way the memory is addressed, so they had to come up with the Memory Stick PRO which can go as high as 32Gb and can be accessed faster, but it is only available in Full size MS, and requires new ways of communicating with the memory.
However some newer devices may be able to use the new memory with firmware updates although at slow speeds.
But will Sony make a DUO version of MS PRO, and will it be soon enough to allow a software/firmware update to be made available so we can use it, SD would have been a better choice coz its alot cheaper and much bigger, but as its Sonys baby and Sonys hardware they created and choose MS DUO, there are very few devices supporting it and are almost impossible to get hold of.
Hope it gets better.
Oh and it does, to follow shortly a Memory stick Jacket (full size) for the P800, might make it that little bit bigger!

I'm just F*****G sick of waiting

I'm just F*****G sick of listening to the same 4 songs all day

I'm just F*****G sick that NOBODY at Sony can give us a date for UK release of the 128Mb duo

I'm just F*****G sick that I can't even get a 64 from Sony Style.

I have a lot of Sony products and they're great, but they have REALLY let me down on this one. Great phone, but it's out of space already with no firm date on the Duo's

Shame on you, Sony

Just another case that the big companies get the sale, then treat their customers like shit......

Can you tell I'm a little upset ????

Hehe...just to rubb it in , I've got both a 64 and a 128MB mem stick duo, plus of course the standard 16MB duo, and with the internal memory of 12MB, that makes the total a whopping 220MB of storage capacity for me to enjoy...

I got the 64MB stick from Expansys some time ago and the 128MB stick from P800er.com. I was fortunate enough to order just before they went out of stock..

Same here... got my 128 Duo from P800er.com. They reserve one for you when you pre-order so all you have to do is wait for their email.
