Dead wrong. The P800 CAN make use of the Magicgate sticks. It just doesn't support the Magicgate MP3 lockdown security, which is a GOOD thing.

On a side note: 109 pounds is a RIPOFF!!! That sucker's gonna sell for 70-80 in singapore

Well I am very happily using a 64Mb MagicGate Duo so that information is incorrect!

As
masseur
says

He is using a 64MB one & it works.

I have read a lot on this and it does appear that the cards work, just that the P800 does not make use of the content protection (magicgate).

No, it states it can't use the "magicgate feature". Doesn't mention a thing about not supporting the MG cards themselves.

@jellyellie

You must hold the record for the quickest person to go above 500!

Not bad seeing as you have only been a member since December.

Saying that your friend pachy has got to 1399 since November !!

Do you lot every get chance to eat

I think the 70-80 is for the 64MB MG Duo... Sony's prices are:
$70 - 64MB MG MS Duo
$130 - 128MB MG MS Duo

Just checked... It'll cost 220 Singapore dollars. That's roughly $105 U.S.
