Gaston :

1) of course I'm not wasting my money actually, but if I knew that a new model is on the way, I would have waited for it... its reliability is getting damaged because of offering 2 new models in such a short time

2)I'm sad that you didn't understand the fact that there are no models as t68c or t68z..

Is there a course for t68 in Netherlands for you?

I think everybody is entitle to their opinion on the marketing strategy of Sony Ericsson on T68, T68m, and T68i because we bought it for different reasons. In my case, I bought it for its versatility (GPRS, Tri-band, color screen, IR, bluetooth, and good software.) I was surprise when i joint this forum that we can actually upgrade the OS (that is a bonus) and there is this MMS on the horizon. Looking at various posting in this forum, i firmly believe that ericsson would make the software up-grade for free, just like the OS (it would be a marketing disaster if they charge). As for the casing, i believe everyone that like the new casing could change it for a fee...The thing i am worry about is whether we need to change various electronic component such as memory to make the new software work. By then, i guess everyone should do their economic calculation. Nonetheless, we shall all agree that the existing T68 is a fine phone and any free improvement on the phone shall be regard as bonus.

Sindu: I agree with you.

Blumx:
1) Glad you agree your money is not garbage. Realize this: SonyEricsson is NOT launching a completely new phone. They have improved the software of the T68 a little and they GIVE that to you FOR FREE too. You really have NO REASON to complain. Do you like the new case of the T68i more? Possible, but still NO REASON to complain.
2) Sorry to see that you don't seem to understand that I'm saying "There are no 5 models".
Please get real.

I'm actually REALLY pissed off at I DO like the new design more and I HATE my T68 now! I want the T68i asap!!! I've really lost my respect for Ericsson though, they just wanted to release the colourscreen coolphone first... and they f*cked up by doing that! I don't think I'm the only one....

The only thing that bothers me is IF the new T68i has more memory capacity than T68m. I dont care about colours and signs.

Ok just to understand:
Is there any HARDWARE change in T68i ?
like mor ememory or better processor or something we can not change ? Or even better build qiality?
Because is the case and the software are the only diferences that is not a big problem.
We can upgrade to the new software.

Deadman: when you said the changes included a sound recorded did you mean that they had changed the existing one?
