But it looks ugly, the earphone(earpiece) is not as nice looking as T68m  . I want the new T68i but I don't like the upper panel, it looks cheap and don't have the classy look of T68m. To SonnyEricsson, please change the upper panel(earpiece side) design, think of other design not that one |

If it will not be possible to upgrade our existing T68:s with more memory and the new joystick and lights, I will be VERY dissapointed in Ericsson, we don't want JUST the software-upgrade! We paid A LOT of money for Your T68, keep this in mind when releasing future models! There are other brands and other models too...
But so far, I have loved my T68, I just feel very dissapointed when they release this only a few months after releasing the T68m!
I doubt that I am the only one feeling this way......right????? |

Trancedancer... I agree with you, and the thing that gets me most angry is the fact that the model has the same name (t68) as our. Therefore we should get the same performances!
Otherwise we take our warranties and all go the same day at the same hour complain in the same SonyEricsson shop...
My point is not the look of the phone, but: will we get the same performances or not?
Their strategy is not consumer friendly at all if they changed also HW.
I can understand that they had to change the look of the phone for marketing purposes (the brands Sony and Ericsson fusoned). But they also should protect the image of the new enterprise by keeping the clients, and this means to me NOT changing any hardware...
What do you thing about it? |

I'm totally disappointed with the things done by sonyericssön. At first,it is rumour that they will release a new t68i with full features as what should t68m owners should got. Now,they totally release a new t68i which is of course full of features and a lot of memory!

I will be very dissapointed with if they don´t give us the new MMS upgrade! It´s in the T68 info page in SonyEricsson site that the T68 will have MMS when operators are ready! Now they release a different phone and let us hang! I just can´t believe it! The least they could do is charge us for the upgrade, but do the hardware changes too like Siemens done with the SL45 and the SL45i!
Laffen nad the other moderators I woul like to ear your opinion in this matter because you always seemed certain of the MMS upgrade!
What do you think it will happen?

I just called the Service Center of SonyEricsson here in germany and asked them about the "new" T68. The lady there told me that there are no differences between the phones except the new cover (which I don't like) and the new (MMS)software. The MMS software will be avaliable end of march and T68m owners can upgrade to the new software for free...

Don't be silly .. when you buy a 2001 car and the 2002 models have a different looking steering wheel, you don't go telling them to change yours because the new ones are different .. do you ? |

Sonyericsson stated all along that we will get the mms-software upgrade for free,..nothing is changed,..we will get that upgrade
I cant see the reason for not believing this, its been confirmed several times.
