T68/i - the only fone i've ever had for over a year and not been bored wit, ive got meself a shiny new P800 now but still hangin on to the ole '68 for a few months. The P800 will set the standard for the future as the T68 did all that time ago

@threeX; I had some Lego once, built a 9210, it was a brick!

Siemens have improved greatly, but the menu is just not natural enough. I want to be able to go in to a menu such as messages and see exactly what is on offer; not (in the case of all Siemens & Motorola) have to trawl through various options and soft keys for what i am after.

If I was getting a T68i substitute now, it would either be the Nokia 6610 or Siemens S55, both worthy phones but still no P800!

@killa007
You have a point there.. I was thinking and it struck me that maybe itīs because a have owned mostly Nokias in the past, the S55 menus are more familiar, not necessarily better, but familiar and that may be the reason i have adapted so fast to the S55..
As for the P800, lovely as it might be is more of a "Swiss army knife" than a phone to me.. Fair play to all happy owners of it but itīs not for me iīm afraid and i think itīs in the twilight "half PDA / half Phone" zone, and therefore isnīt on my list of best _phones_.
Cheers!
Happy owner of: Ericsson GH198, S868, SH888, R310s, T10s, T28s, A2618s, T39m x2, T68m, T66, SE t68i, T610, S700i, Nokia 2110i, 6210, 8310, 8850, 8890 and 6680 Siemens S55

Greatest phone i have ever owned has to be my newly acquired T68i.

I never thought I would need WAP, Bluetooth or even a colour screen but its an amazing piece of kit!!! I upgraded from my old T28 and have always gone for ericssons (628, A1018s anybody) and have always thought nokia as over rated, still different strokes for different folks!!!

Can't wait get savvy with all its features and will certainly be keeping the T68i for a long time too come!!!!!

The "greatest" phone should have:

1) the aesthetic appeal of the classic Ericssons
2) the feature-set of the Ericssons/SE
3) the reliability of Siemens
4) the UI refinements of Nokia

All past and present phones are lacking in one or more of the above...

Best phone for me(previously and currently owned phone), in order.

1. T68m
2. P800
3. Ericsson A1018s
4. T39

I didn't have T68i, but I do believe that T68i is probably the best phone in 2002.

I have had the following phones in this order:

Nokia 2110
Nokia, 3110
Nokia 6110
Nokia 3310
Ericsson T18s
Nokia 7110
Ericsson R380
Ericsson R520
Ericsson R600
Ericsson T300
Ericsson T68i

I still have the R520, T300 and T68i. The 2 best phones from all these were for me:

1. SE T68i
2. Ericsson R520

The menus on the S55 are easy to use, the navigation keys are abit tricky! 3330 had bugs? Would a thought the 7110 was worse : )

Nokia 6510 would have to be mine.
T68i is great too.
3650, when I get it, will no doubt pass both.
