There were many gud phones in 2008..
but according to me XPERIA was d BEST.

most awaited phone ever : XPERIA X1
SExperience : j210, k510, k530, k700, k790, k810, k850, w200. w580, w700, w810, w910, w960.
(other: motorola n nokia)
Currently Owing: SE W910, W960; Moto C168, C650.

Thoroughly agree with carkitter. Love it or hate it, the iPhone 3G's had by far the biggest impact on the whole industry - even more so than the original iPhone in some ways. SE has barely registered on the radar in comparison.

Isn't that just a nice way of saying "most needlessly delayed"?!

If the X1 had come out in the first half of 2008 it might have impressed, but it's half-arsed release at the tail end of the year as part of a slew of similar WM phones blew it, IMHO. It was old before it's time.

i'll nominate myphone o.k. It arrived Exclusively on Vodafone Nov 2007 but actually came out sometime Jan 2008 The Miggghhtty N95-2

Very aptly put...if I remember correctly, the p990 faced a similar situation...the old before its time disease that seems to afflict the most awaited...or needlessly delayed phones

N95-2 was out even here in South Africa in November 2007.

My vote has got to be for the SAMSUNG Innov8 as well,i can only dream of getting it, it has QVGA@120FPS vid recording with slow-mo, TI OMAP2430 CPU with PowerVR MBX Lite GPU,HSDPA7.2mbps, S60 FP2, etc. . ., its a true multimedia computer, i hope Samsung keep up the great work.
