sadly the world will never live in peace thanks to religion, religion really is thew root of all evil.

now I'm not turning this is a religion bash as it's not the time or place, that aside, a peaceful world? no chance!

It's peoples wrongful interpretation of religion that causes the problems Reg, there are a lot of positives in all the scriptures, mans mind is weak and feeble, and chooses to focus on certain elements of scripture above others, the principle of loving your fellow man should over-ride all differences.

very well said MWEB ...

its not the religion that causes the problem, its the person practicing the religion in a negative way.

all religions teach us the same moral value's ...

@Pk- Islam has no hand in this whatsoever.it is one of the oldest religions in world history and is practised by millions of people around the world. These terrorists call themselves Jihadis and are a spot in the name of religion. They have no work but to reign terror in the minds of people and destroy a country.

I agree with that and wish everyone else would.
The media will label it as Islamic terorists, that i can assure you!

Totally agree

oh indeed MWEB, but sadly, as has been shown thoughout history, this isn't the case and people will stand up for what they believe in and sadly this every now and then results in fights/wars/genocide etc etc...

I'm not saying we can't live in harmony but you with your beliefs and me with mine and him with his etc is all just a big mish mash, to a degree they all teach the same things, to love thy neighbour etc, but people don't always go along with it!

it's more the preaching I don't get, not by a long way, you either belive or you don't, but matey stood on his soap box in town citing the bible isn't for one minute going to make me want to turn to religion.

But yeah, in short, I don't feel having x number of religions in the world helps anyone.

I sort of agree with Reggie. Its in human nature to fight, whether its over religion, politics, resources, territory etc.

Religion doesn't cause wars, Humans cause wars!

Plus to think there will ever be a time when there will no conflict somewhere in the world is a bit much to ask IMO.

We can but hope and pray.

The amount of money countries spend on national security and defence is just astronomical, it could easily solve a lot of the worlds problems.

my heart goes out to the Britons,Australians, Japanese who were killed in this attack. What an experience. India is not what you have experienced over the past 2 days. The terrorists attacked foreigners and tried to disrupt tourism and India's position in the global scenario. let us join hands and pledge not to bow against terrorism.

World Peace is just good mens dream i dont think it can ever happen. Sad reality but true. And there are sick people in most religions not just as they say Islam. I seen religious nuts on the news who are Christians. India and Pakistan are still fighting over Kashmir or am i wrong. Crazy world. I have a friend who is muslim and she is very quiet peaceful person. Need i say more?

I don't think the terrorists really care what religion people are. The sickos just throw bombs regardless. No doubt a few muslims were murdered in the carnage in that hotel.

They just blow anyone up.

Battle still going on at the Taj Heritage.
It is so frustrating to see the 105 year old building in flames and with bullet ridden marks.

Isreali media slams indian forces for incompetent handling of the matters. I bellieve its the best te army could have done. The terrorists were killed on pot and most of the hostages were saved.the number of poeple killed could have been much more had the Army not exercized caution.they could have simply broken in and killed the terrorists along with the hostages.

True, the priority was the safe rescue of the hostages held by these terrorists.
This has made everyone so angry.
Reports will soon come in.
Initial reports clearly pointing a Hand on Pakistan. The captured terrorst reveals that the planning happened 6 months before.
More to come in.
