if you don't want all those features in T68, why not just get a T600 or nokia 8210, basic phone. rather than you complain n complain n complain......sighhhhh

@mkt

Yeah, do all thet things and t68i will loose all it's charm

Not worth, at least for me, to sacrifice all the things i like in t 68i just to scroll menus a few miliseconds faster.

I agree, its not worth it. I love this phone for all of the customizable stuff on it. Taking all of that away makes the phone boring.

Funny reading your Post of "our" slow t68i!

My phone is and was always "clean", so I never had a slow phone!

If the SMS memory is low and all the other s**t is deleted you can even have a background pic such as a screensaver...

A SE without a background pic is simply boooooorrrrring!!!

@bart i think white background & theme consumes more battery power, because if you turn your phone off, the screen turns black. and the screensaver clock has black background also

@randyrivera the original poster - great tips and observations!

I've had my T68i for 7 months now and I've got a little bored of the 'pretty' aspects.

I'm now looking at my T68i as a 'serious' piece of phone kit - POP3/IMAP4 email protocols and wap via GPRS (or GSM), and IR, vibrating alert, calendar synch'ing with Outlook etc.

And I want it fast!

Steven.
