Just another advantage of WebViewer: connect your P800 to your PC (preferably over Bluetooth, but does also work by cable or IR), open WebViewer and enter an URL... There you go, surfing the web on your P800 over Bluetooth using your PC Internet Connection!

Well. If WebViewer can do that. Any app should be able to do it. Or do you need special software on the PC? (apart from the included software that comes with the phone I mean). |

No, you don't need any other Software, just the P800 suite that comes with the phone.
I agree, it should be possible with any SW on the phone to connect to the PC (as long as the protocol used is TCP/IP).
However, if you try to do the same with the built-in Browser of the P800, it doesn't work because P800 always tries to connect to a GPRS-resource (if you delete all Internet Accounts, it also works with the built-in browser).

If I delete all internet accounts and I am connected via Pc internet connection, the built in browser won't let me use the internet. It asks me to setup an internet account using the control panel. Any solutions? I can use webviewer with pc connection but not p800 browser. |

Sorry, my mistake, you have to delete the WAP-Accounts as well. Then it should work (at least for me, it worked!) But it's very uncomfortable, to be honest...

You don't actually have to delete your wap account, but once you disconnect from Bluetooth and try to reconnect again, it sometimes requires some tweaking to make it work...
