Now that some of you had the Phone .what about 3rd party software?? this may be a stupid question but I would like to know if I would be able to use most of the software written for symbian?
I don't have a P800 yet but 3rd party software support would be a key consideration. thoughts? |

Not very usefull, but with the File manager you get a Task list and memory info. http://www.esato.com/downloads/qfileman.sis |

but the apps from http://midlet.org/jsp/index.jsp were not designed for the P800 so don't you get a messed up screen view?

the screen capture utility is essential for developers to show their programs running on the phones to the public, and for magazines to show that: accurate screenshots.

Most MIDlet program work fine. The biggest problem is that the P800 don’t have a joystick so you have to use a virtual joystick on the screen. It’s not fun to play games like snake that way but whit most of the games its ok that way.
About the screen view: The biggest problem there is that program is design for smaller screens so the display is small. But you can still see it good. And some of the program has real smart programmers so they expand to the right screen size.
It think that is so cool that we lucky P800 owners can use all this programmes made for Siemens and Nokia.

just type ROM game in Google... a good spanish site will come up.
Sorry for the "2 posts for one message" earlier, but posting from the P800 only allows 55 caracters to be typed in Esato's web site... |

Rewireless Web Viewer runs like a charm. It's a feature rich web browser.
