OH CYCHO OH!!!AT LAST MAN!!!!!!!
PHEW!!

ITS ALL WWOORRKKIINNGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

damn i spent 3 days only on this and now everything is fine!!!!wooohohohoho...

but like they say...Problems never end!;)
don't worry nothing big...
i need you suggestions.

-im going to re install my XP,where do you suggest i install it on.SATA or IDE?

-and am i going to get the true SATA speed or at least something better than the IDE?

-and since i only have 2 IDE ports, now one is for the SATA HD and the other for the IDE HD,so what about my DVD drive?i know i can connect it along with the IDE HD's cable but is it going to affect the speed or something?and since i have not set jumpers for my HD's what do i do on the DVD?

-and finally;)well hopefully...
is the "Repair" any good for XP?my system is kind of slow so just want to reinstall.

and again thank you man.!

You won't get SATA speed from the SATA drive because it's connected ultimately to the IDE port, so it doesn't matter which drive you install windows on.

You won't lose any speed by connecting the DVD-ROM to the same channel as the IDE hard drive though, it's designed to do that

The repair option is normally only used to try and get windows to boot up again when it's become totally screwed up. It may produce a slight speed increase, but it's more for curing system errors like missing .dll files and all of that stuff. A fresh reinstall is always best

Glad it's all working at last!

Do you know how to use Windows' built-in disk manager? If so, it'll tell you whether the drive has been partitioned to the wrong size and let you delete the partition and create a new one

Otherwise, it could be that your BIOS can't handle drives of more than 120Gb although nowadays that's unlikely.
