hello,

This seems like a good place to dump some thoughts i have about my w910 aswell.

I've been using it for about 2weeks now and i do enjoy the phone. It's slime, lightwight, the slide function works like a charm.

However there is still somethings left undone i believe.

The quality is not 100%, I don't know about yours but when i slide open mine there is a small glitch so whenever you press any of the buttons on the lid you get a tiny "click" sound and the lid tappers agains the keypad half of the phone. It's a very small glitch but it is enoguh to create a bad sensation when ever i use the phone.

The shake function is abit bad, i like it in the marble madness game there it works really good.
But that you need to hold and press the W button when you want to change tune is just making the function obsolete. That is, it is so much easier and faster to just press the volume up/down button to skip a tune than to use the shake function.

The small lid that covers the memcard fell loose the first time i wanted to remove the mem card.

I think the camera works pretty good, but again there are some small things that could have been better
There is no "crop" function in PhotoDJ.
There is no way of changing the size of a picture that you have taken.
The change size function is already implemented in the phone but you just cant use it in the photoDJ app. You can however change the size of a picture when you are using the picture in an MMS.
So why is this even a problem? say that you took a picture of someone and you decide that you want to use that as a contact picture. Now you have a 1600x1200 pixels image that uses somewhere around 300 - 500 KB of memory. That is just a waste of mem since you are using the picture on a display that only shows 320x200.
(yes i know you can set the picture size to 320x200 when you take the picture, but i always have the camera set to 2MP)

For some reason my phone shuts it self off some mornings (not every morning but it has happen 25% of the time I've had it). usually around the same time?!.
I know this since i'm listening to the radio on my way to work around the same time each morning.

This could probably be resolved with firmware update, however when i tried to update the phone the update software never "saw" the phone and refused to update.

As a finishing touch i do seriously believe that SonyEricsson should drop their embarrasing copy of itunes.. ( media manager) as it is completely useless and slow.

Sorry for the long post

- Cye

Hi, I bought the W910i couple days ago. And I must say I've been very pleased untill now. As was already said here, the speaker is terrible, but otherwise through headphones I find it ok. The question I wanted to ask is about the themes. In all the reviews I read, the main menu is suppose to change with some of the themes. Meaning if I changed it perhaps into eclipse theme, the menu was suppose to change from the classic showing of nine icons(camera, radio, walkman....) showing them one by one scrolling from above. No matter which theme I choose the menu stays always the same. So I was wondering if someone could help me, how to get the menu to change, so it shows the icons vertically and so....thank You very much, have a beautiful day

Your phone is branded, isn't it?
Guess you'll have to de-brand it.
